Cooperative Institute of Management and Technology (CIMAT) is located at Monvila, in the outskirts of Thiruvananthapuram city and provides a highly conducive academic environment. Established by Kerala State Co-operative Bank, CIMAT is offering the MBA programme of University of Kerala with the approval of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) from the academic year 2010. With more than 1500 branches of the State / District / Urban / Primary Cooperative banks, CIMAT has a strong base to mould the students to become valuable resources and thus contribute towards nation building.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE
Educational qualification for applying to the program is a pass in BA, BSc, BCom, with 50% marks in aggregate in Part III or a pass in any other degree level examination recognized by University of Kerala with a minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Applicants desirous of taking admission in the MBA programme of the Institute must have taken the MAT, which is conducted at national level. On the basis of the MAT score, the candidates are shortlisted. Candidates should apply to CIMAT in the prescribed form available in the office of CIMAT or downloaded from the web site of CIMAT (www.cimat.kerala.gov.in ) or from the web site of Kerala State Cooperative Bank (www.keralacobank.com ). Applicants selected will be called for Group Discussion and Interview.They will be offered final admission on the basis of their performance in all these components.

Tuition fee Rs 35,000 per semester.

REFUNDS
After admission the entire amount paid by a student shall stand forfeited except the refundable deposit mentioned above, subject to the regulations applicable as an AICTE approved programme. This applies to dismissals as well as withdrawals, voluntary or otherwise, from the roll of the Institute.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
Subject to the terms and conditions, the students can avail educational loan and computer loan from any of the branches of Kerala State Cooperative Bank.

Norms to be followed for admission of candidates to PG/PG Diploma Courses:
The eligible candidates will be called for attending online test and interview in the University Campus. Based on the marks scored by the candidate in UG degree (50%), online test (25%) and interview (25%), the PG admission will be provisionally made. The admission for PG course will be confirmed after receiving the final marks statement / degree certificate as per the eligibility norms of the University. For MBA programme, the marks scored in national level examinations such as CAT, MAT, XAT & TANCET will also be considered for admission.

Application form and prospectus can be obtained from the Admissions Officer, Karunya University, Coimbatore - 641 114, Tamil Nadu, India by sending a crossed DD(Rs.20/-) drawn in favour of 'THE REGISTRAR, KARUNYA UNIVERSITY' payable at COIMBATORE (or) can be obtained in person at Jesus Calls Centres (www.jesuscalls.org).
However, the candidates should send the filled-in application form along with the DD for Rs. 500/- (Five Hundred only) towards application form processing charges.

Eligibility:
Minimum three-year Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any discipline, from a recognised university, with a consistent record of first class in Std X, Std XII and graduation. Admission Procedure:
Registering for XAT or CAT is a pre-requisite for applying to LIBA's PGDM program.

Candidates who have applied to LIBA will be short listed only on the basis of their XAT 2012 / CAT 2011 scores.

Candidate eligible for admission to M. Phil./Ph.D. programme in more than one Department/Centre/Unit in the same or a different Faculty of the University can apply for admission in not more than two disciplines.

Eligibility: Input Qualification: M.E./M.Pharm./MBA/M.Phil of BITS or its equivalent with a minimum of 60% aggregate. Candidates with an M.Sc./B.E./B.Pharm or an equivalent degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate will also be considered for Ph.D. admission. For Ph.D Programme in Languages and humanities, candidates with an M.A. and with minimum of 55% aggregate may also be considered. Industries and R&D organizations collaborating with BITS may sponsor candidates to work for Ph.D. under “Aspirants scheme”. Its details are available at www.bitsadmission.com. Under this scheme such employed professionals having long experience and proven competence are admitted and will be allowed to pursue their research work at their own locations. Assistantship and fee waiver

Candidates admitted to the Higher Degree and Ph.D. programmes will be considered for assistantship in the form of partial tuition fee waiver and monthly stipend. Candidates selected for assistantship will be required to participate in teaching and other academic developmental programme of the institute under the guidance of a mentor.
