Financial Support: Very attractive fellowship stipend of up to Rs.18,000/- pm, waiver of most fees, contingency grant of Rs.1,20,000/- over four years, support for international and national conferences and international exchange programme.

Relaxation: Candidates possessing PGDM of IIMs with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 out of 4.33 or equivalent will be eligible for applying directly, without again taking a qualifying examination.

Selection: Candidates will be short listed on the recommendation of respective areas based on their Profile and Qualifying Scores. Such candidates will be invited for a Personal Interview (and written tests for certain areas) at IIM Kozhikode. To and fro travel expenses between the railway station at the place of residence and Kozhikode, limited to III AC train fare, will be reimbursed by the Institute. For attending interviews, accommodation will be provided in the campus; however, candidates need to bear the expenses related to their food.

How To Apply: Candidates will be required to complete an online form. In addition, they will have to down load a form for referee recommendation. These forms will have to be completed by two referees and attached with the print out of the completed application form.

An application fee of Rs.300/- is required. Please note that details of the demand draft are required to be entered in the Online Form. Hence, the demand draft needs to be procured before the online form can be submitted.

1.GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN MATERIALS MANAGEMENT (GDMM)

The Graduate Diploma in Materials Management is recognized by the Central Government (Department of Education), Ministry of HRD, for the purpose of recruitment to superior posts and services under the Central Government. This is also accredited by the International Federation of Purchasing and supply Management (IFPSM), Atlanta, USA. IIMM is the first Institute in the Asia Pacific Region to be certified by IFPSM.

7.INTERNATIONAL PURCHASING AND SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT (IPSCM)

About ITC (International Trade Centre - UNCTAD / WTO)

Eligibility Criteria

Educational - To qualify for these professional qualifications, you must have a university degree and proficiency in English and at least two years working experience in purchasing & supply.
Duration
Normal duration of the course is 18 months; however since this is a modular course specially designed for working professionals, the candidates can complete the modules at their own pace. The examinations for all the modules will be held in March and September every year. Certificate and Diploma will be awarded by ITC on successful completion of requirements.

Course Content
To obtain the first level Certificate, you must complete and take exams covering six of the modules. If you prefer to go for the Advanced Certificate, you must complete and take exams for all twelve core modules. To obtain the Diploma, you must not only complete the twelve core modules, but also three supplementary modules and an assignment report of 8,000-10,000 words.

8.CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL IN SUPPLY MANAGEMENT (CPSM)

The CPSM Examination is controlled by the Certification Board, Institute for Supply Management United States of America, (ISM, USA) which consists of a panel drawn from a variety of organizational backgrounds. The CPSM Exam is revised under the Board's scrutiny before every test administration using input from purchasing and materials managers across the United States. These Exams are now being offered by IIMM at substantially lower fees in India through distance education.

Throughout the year through 44 branches & Headquarter. Students will be eligible for writing the examination only after six months from the date of admission.

Eligibility:

Minimum three-year Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any discipline, from a recognized university, with a consistent record of first class in Std X, Std XII and graduation. Final year degree students, who expect to complete their final examinations and other requirements for obtaining the degree by June 05, 2012, can also apply.



Selection process: Candidates who have applied to LIBA will be short listed only on the basis of their XAT 2012 / CAT 2011 scores. Short listed candidates will be called for Group Discussion and interview for final selection at Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai. Candidates can give their choice of Interview centre; however it is subject to discretion of LIBA.

Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi-221005, has notified the admission to the MBBS/BDS/BAMS/B.Pharm Courses at the Institute, for 2012. Admission to the Programmes will be based on All India Competitive Written Test. Admission to the MBBS course, having 84 seats will be based on a two stage Test, the PMT-2012 Screening and PMT-2012 Main.

Admission to BDS (38 seats), BAMS (50 seats) and B. Pharm. (33 seats) courses will be based on the single stage Entrance, PMT-2012 Screening. The number of seats in BAMS course may increase subject to approval by the Central Council of Indian Medicine.

PMT-2012 Screening will be held at Varanasi, Delhi, Kolkata and Hyderabad on 16th May 2012 (Wednesday), to screen candidates for eligibility to appear in PMT-2012 Main examination for MBBS course which will be held on 17th June 2012 (Sunday) at Varanasi only.

For BDS/BAMS/B.Pharm Courses, candidates will be selected on the basis of their merit in the PMT-2012 Screening only.

ELIGIBILITY: Applicant should have completed 17 years but not crossed 25 years as on 31st December, 2012. Those born after 1st January, 1996 and on or before 31st December, 1987 are not eligible to apply.

Applicant should have passed Intermediate/10+2/equivalent examination in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Zoology + Botany) taken together. For MBBS/BDS/BAMS, applicant should also have a minimum of 50% marks for General and 45% for General-PC candidates and 40% marks for OBC(NCL)/SC/ST and respective PC candidates.

For B.Pharm applicant should have a minimum of 60% marks for General / OBC and respective PC candidates and 55% marks for SC/ST and respective PC candidates. Candidates appearing in qualifying examination may also apply. Distribution of Seats: M.B.B.S (84 seats): General-42; OBC-23; SC-13 and ST-6; BDS (38 seats): General-19; OBC-10; SC-6 and ST-3.

BAMS (50 seats): General-25; OBC-13; SC-8 and ST-4.

B.Pharm. (33 seats): General-17; OBC-9; SC-5 and ST-2.

Three percent seats are reserved for Physically Challenged (PC) candidates on horizontal basis in the above courses.

Applications can be obtained by Post from the Office of the Director (PMT-Cell), Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi-221005, till 27.02.2012, by sending by Registered Post, a Crossed Demand Draft/Bankers Cheque (MICR only), of a Nationalized Bank, drawn in favour of ‘The Director, Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU’, payable at Varanasi, for Rs. 1600/- for General/OBC candidates and Rs. 1100 for SC/ST candidates along with a written request that includes the Name and address of the candidate, and also the full particulars of the enclosed DD/BC with candidate’s name and address written on the back of DD and two, self-addressed, preferably typed, white paper slips of 10 cm ´ 6 cm size, in a cover super-scribed ‘Request for Application Form for PMT-2012, BHU’. Application form will be sent by Speed / Registered Post.

Application Forms from the Office of the Director (PMT-Cell), Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU, Varanasi-221005 can be obtained up to 27.02.2012, by Post only and not in person.

Application form duly completed must be sent by Registered Post so as to reach The Director (PMT Cell), Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi-221 005, latest by 15.03.2012.

Foreign Nationals are not required to appear in the PMT examination for MBBS/BDS/BAMS courses. They may seek admission through the Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India, New Delhi, as per the rules laid down for the purpose and their nomination must reach by 15.07.2012. Eligibility
(i) MD/MS(Allopathy): In-service regularly appointed Medical Officers and in -service adhoc/ contractual/ Rogi Kalyan Samities appointees AND for open competition graduates of IGMC, Shimla, Dr. RPGMC Tanda (Kangra), Bonafide Himachalis who have done MBBS from any Institution recognized by MCI and Children of H.P Govt. employees/ employees of Autonomous Bodies wholly or partially financed by H.P. (ii) MDS: In-service regularly appointed (M.O. Dental) and in-service contractual / Rogi Kalyan Samities appointees and for open competition graduates of Dental Colleges located in the Himachal Pradesh, Bonafide Himachalies who have done BDS from any Institute recognized by DCI and Children of H.P. Govt. employees/ employees of autonomous bodies wholly or partially financed by the H.P Govt. getting admission to BDS course through CBSE or any other All India Entrance Examination in DCI/GOI recognized Dental colleges in India, can apply for this test.

How To Apply
For prescribed Application Form (OMR) and detailed information, the Prospectus can be obtained at the University Exams Enquiry-cum-Sale Counter, Library Building, (Basement) Summer Hill, Shlmla-5 from 29.12.2011 to 18.1.2012 during working days on cash payment of Rs.2000/- including test fee and by post Rs.2100/- by sending IPOs/Bank Draft to be drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, H.P. University, Shimla.

The requests for obtaining the Prospectus by post should be addressed only to the Assistant Registrar (Ent. Tests) H.P. University, Summer Hill, Shimla-5 mentioning clearly therein the name of the prospectus i.e, MD / MS (Allopathy) or MDS (Dental). No request for sending the prospectus by post will be entertained after 3.1.2012.
