Short-Tearm Training Programme 2012

Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI), Mysore has invited applications for admission to short term training programme in "Post-harvest handling and storage of fresh fruits and vegetables for commercial trade" scheduled from Mar 26 - 30, 2012.

The training programme would focus on:
 Pre-harvest treatments influencing post-harvest quality
 Post-harvest treatments influencing post- harvest quality
 Storage conditions for extension of storage life
 Ripening and delay in ripening
 Microbiological quality
 Packaging specifications
 Export potentials

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Knowledge of the subject under focus, preferably a basic degree. The medium of presentation and interaction is English.

TRAINING CHARGES PER PARTICIPANT:
Rs. 7,250/- (Inclusive of Food & Accomodation)
Training charges may be paid in the form of DD favouring "Director, CFTRI, Mysore"
