MSc PROGRAMME: “Applied Chemistry” under the Deptt of Chemistry

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:(i) Bachelor’s degree in Science with honours or equivalent in the appropriate area, at least 60% marks or 6.5 in CGPA/CPI on a 10 point scale.(ii) A relaxation of 5% or 0.5 in CGPA/CPI on a 10 point scale may be extended to the candidates belonging to SC/ST category.

How to Apply
The Admission Brochure containing Application Form for Entrance Test can be obtained from 07th of April, 2008 from the Admission Cell of the University at Vidya Vihar Campus, Raebareli Road, Lucknow-226025 on payment of Rs. 300/- in cash (Rs. 75/- for SC/ST/PH candidate) or by remitting crossed demand draft in favour of the Finance Officer, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, payable at Lucknow, along with a self addressed stamped envelop of Rs. 50/- of Size 1x12 inches. Application Form is also available on University website www.bbauindia.org.in or www.indiaresults.com which may be submitted along with the fee. Payment in any other form will not be accepted.

Last date for receipt of Application Form complete in all respect is 16th May, 2008. Candidate can apply for more than one course by filling up separate Application Form for each.

Note : (1) Candidate due to appear in 2008 at the final year examination of the qualifying degree prescribed for admission may also appear in the Entrance Test but their admission would be provisional and subject to their fulfilling the eligibility criteria (as mentioned in the Admission Brochure). (2) The University may create/change/cancel any enter for the Entrance Test based on the number of candidates at its own discretion. (3) Though the University shall ensure timely dispatch of Application Form after the receipt of request from candidates, however, there will not be any responsibility of the University regarding any postal delay. (4) Incomplete Application Form and those without free and also received late will be summarily rejected. (5) The Application Form can be obtained from the University Sale Counter (Admission Cell) on all working days i.e. from Monday-Friday. University is also providing remedial coaching, UGC NET coaching & competitive exam coaching for SC/ST/Minorities students. University also offers Ph.D. programmes (with 50% reservation for SC/ST/in the ratio of 2:1. for which application forms and details may be obtained from Academic Section of the University. ADMISSIONS TO B.E. / B.TECH. DEGREE COURSES 2008 – 2009

Applications are invited for the unified single window admission for first year B. E. / B. Tech. Degree Programme 2008 to the University Departments of Anna Universities, Government and Government Aided Engineering Colleges and for the seats surrendered by the Self – Financing Engineering Colleges.
1. In Person
Candidates can obtain the application form in person from the centres detailed below by paying Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- in case of SC/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu) towards registration fee, by cash/demand draft

2. By Post
Application forms can also be obtained by post from the Secretary, Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA), Anna University Chennai, Chennai - 600 025 by sending a letter of requisition along with a Demand Draft for Rs.650/- (Rs.400/- in case of SC/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu) and an address label written in capital letters to which the application is to be mailed.

3. Through Website
The candidates can also register through internet by logging on to www.annuniv.edu/tnea2008. After entering the required information in the application form, press the submit button, then take a printout, affix a photograph and affix the signature at the appropriate spaces provided. The printout application along with the registration fee in the form of a D.D. only (SC/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu have to enclose an attested xerox copy of Community Certificate also) should be sent along with all the enclosures by speed / registered post to the address given below.

4. Special Reservations
Candidates seeking admission under Special reservation category should enclose separate special reservation application along with main application together with DD for Rs.100/- for each special reservations with an attested xerox copies of relevant document. The applications under Sports Quota should be submitted along with all documents only in person.

5. Submission of filled in applications
Candidates have to send the filled in application along with an attested xerox copies of Mark Sheet(s) and an attested xerox copies of all other relevant certificates, to The Secretary, Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions 2008, Anna University Chennai, Chennai - 600 025 on or before 26.05.2008 (5.30 p.m.)

All Demand Drafts should be drawn in favour of “The Director, Admissions, Anna University Chennai” payable at Chennai, drawn on any Nationalised / Scheduled bank dated on or after 09.05.2008. Candidates are instructed to write name and address on the reverse side of the Demand Draft.

SC/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu who wants to avail registration fee concession (Rs.250/-) in Person or by Post should produce xerox copy of the permanent community certificate obtained from competent authority.

Applications in the prescribed form are invited for Entrance Examination for admission into 2-year Post Graduate Program in Emergency Care (PGPEC) at Emergency Management and Research Institute (EMRI), Secunderabad for the academic year 2008-2010 from the candidates. PGPEC is a joint Stanford University School of Medicine, USA - EMRI academic activity.

Eligibility: Bachelor Degree in Life Sciences (B.Sc.– B.Z.C.); Bachelors Degree in Nursing, Physiotherapy or Allied Health Sciences.

Post Graduate Program in Emergency Care Entrance Examination (PGPECEE 2008):
An all-India examination to test the preparedness of the applicants will be held on 15th June, 2008. The examination will be held at Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam and Ahmedabad. Additional centres will be identified based on the number of applications from other regions. Separate question papers will be used for candidates with Life Science background and Allied Health Sciences.

Admission Procedure:
Admission to PG program in Emergency Care will be on the basis of the performance in the Post Graduate Program in Emergency Care Entrance Examination (PGPECEE 2008) and Interview.

Andhra Pradesh, India. The Examination fee may be paid by Demand Draft/IPO in favour of “EMRI” payable at Hyderabad.

The filled-in applications should reach EMRI either in person or by registered post / courier on or before 6pm on 30th May, 2008.
