FOR ENTRY INTO THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMS:
INTERNATIONAL POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA COURSES (IPGD)2008/2009 Intake:

The International Post Graduate Diploma in Life Insurance
The International Post Graduate Diploma in General Insurance
The International Post Graduate Diploma in Risk management

A candidate can choose only one out of the above three courses. Course fee : Rs. 1,80,000/-
Duration : Its a Full time, Two semesters, One year Programme.

Eligibility: Graduates of any discipline including engineers from any recognised University (with a minimum of 50% marks) or equivalent professional qualification. Those having PG Qualification with 50% or more marks will be considered even if such candidates secure less then 50% in graduation. Candidates appearing for the final year examinations can also apply for provisional admission.

Accreditation: IPGDLI, IPGDGI and IPGDRM courses are accredicted by Chartered Insurance Institute, London.

Special features include : a. specially designed syllabus incorporating technical and relevant subjects. b. internationally recognized qualification. c. a route to attain the “ACII” Qualification of CII, UK. d. practical exposure and placement assistance. e. highly qualified and experienced faculty. (Faculty from the Insurance and Allied Industry) f. student services and assistance: recreational activities, counseling, study loans, finding accommodation in Hyderabad etc. g. participation in selected IIRM organized conferences, academic and training activities. h. IIRM has secured maximum CII accreditation for the IPGD (Life / General / Risk Management) Courses - total exemption of seven (7) subjects. i. IIRM Hyderabad has been Approved as CII Examination Centre from October 2006. Students may note that they can take CII Exams at IIRM, Hyderabad twice in a year after completing the necessary formalities. j. IPGD courses of IIRM caries certain exemptions of Associateship from Insurance Institute of India (I I I), Mumbai.

Overseas applications: i) Registration Fees:$20, ii) Course fee:$9000

Applications can be obtained from the office of he Institute against payment of Rs.200/- payable by demand draft from any scheduled bank favouring IIRM, payable at Hyderabad. Applications can also be downloaded from Institute website and sent to the Institute along with a DD for Rs.200/-. Defective applications without registration fees will not be considered.
