The School and College of Nursing are affiliated to its parent hospital-R.L. Jalappa Hospital and Research Center attached to Sri. Devraj Urs Medical College which has become Deemed University in the year 2007. The Institution will be affiliated to deemed Univeristy shortly.

The School is existing for the last 13 years and College for 10 years with excellent academic records (85 to 100% result including distinctions and Gold Medals). Most of the students passed out form this institution are successfully practicing in Europe and Middle East Countries as well. The School and College has good infrastructure with peaceful campus atmosphere. The qualified and experienced faculty staff provides personalized attention while educating and training students in classrooms and clinical settings. Besides they have an excellent Hostel facility within the campus.

Clinical training is provided in the attached Multi-Speciality Medical College Hospital having 850 beds. The Hospital is situated within the campus. It has 05 Intensive Care Units, 12 Major OTs, Trauma Center, Dialysis Unit, CT Scan, MRI and other modern/latest facilities.

Eligibility: Pass in 10+2/PDC Preferably science group with 35% marks.

Basic B.Sc. Nursing -4 years
No. of Seats: 100
Eligibility: Pass in 10+2/PDC 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English (For SC/ST – 40%)

Expected Date of commencement: 01.09.2008

M.Sc. Nursing – 2 Years
No. of Seats: 5 each
Eligibility: Pass in Basic B.Sc. (N)/P.C.B.Sc. (N) with one year experience in Hospital/Teaching
(No. experience is required for P.C.B.Sc. (N) Graduates)
Specialities: Medical Surgical Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing.
