Admission notice for Industrial Training Institute in Himachal Pradesh

1. Applications are invited from eligible candidates on the prescribed form for admission to various Trades in the under mentioned Industrial Training Institutes in Himachal Pradesh for the session commencing from August 2009
a. Industrial Training Institutes located at Mandi, Jogindernagar, Paplog, Bagsaid, Karsog, Bilaspur, Berthin, Nadaun (at Rail), Bhoranj, Shahpur, Nurpur, Nehranpukhar, Saliana, Chamba, Bharmour, Udaipur, Shamshi, Shimla, Rampur, Jubbal, Solan, Nalagarh, Nahan, Paonta Sahib, Rajgarh, Una, Reckong Peo, Shallai, Sainj, Kumarsain, Bangana, Bani, Dhameta, Rongtong, Thalot, Garh Jamula, Swarghat, Arki, Gangath, Dadasiba
Garnota, Lachori, Tissa (at Koti), batail, Baroh, Talwar, Chingaon, Killar, Nirmand, Lambloo, Sujanpur, Theog, Santoshgarh, Bogdhar, Junga, Kaffota, Sarahan, Chachiot, Chintpurni
b. Industrial training institutes for women located at Dharamshala, Shimla, Nahan, Reckong Peo, Kullu, Hamirpur, Bilaspur, Palampur, Nalagarh, Mandi, Una, Chamba, Kasauli, Deegal, Chopal, and Jawali
c. Industrial training institute for physically handicapped at Sundernagar
2. The prospectus along with application form can be obtained from any of the above Institutes either on cash payment of Rs. 260/- (Two hundred sixty only) at the counter or by remitting Rs 290/- (Two hundred ninety only) through money order, if desired by post. Admission/ Selection for all trades will be made District wise purely on the basis of the marks obtained in the qualifying examination prescribed for the respective trade. Only one application form should be filled by the candidate for admission.
Applications on the prescribed forms available in the prospectus must reach in the office of the concerned ITI on or before the last date of receipt of applications form i.e. 24th July, 2009 up to 05.00 pm
Last date of receipt of applications from candidates belongs to Lauhal, Spiti, Pangi, Bharmour and Knnour is 27th July, 2009 up to 05.00 pm.
Application forms received after due date shall not be considered
3. Admission will be made on State Level for Physically Handicapped candidates, They should submit their applications at ITI (PH) Sundernagar Distt Mandi HP

4. All the candidates will have to appear before the admission selection committee along with all original certificates/documents for admission. The candidates will have to appear in person in the office of the concerned principal as shown in the prospectus.
5. The following shall be the schedule of admission
For ITIs: 03.08.20009 – All reserved categories and its sub reserved categories & all trades
For ITIs: 04.08.2009, 05.08.2009 – All Un-reserved categories and its sub-categories & all trades.
For ITIs (Women): 07.08.2009 – All reserved & its sub-reserved categories and all trades
For ITIs (Women): 08.08.2009 – All Un-reserved/General Category & its sub reserve categories
Candidates belonging to Lauhal for ITI Udaipur, Spiti Sub Division for ITI Rong Tong and Pangi for ITI Killar on: 06.08.2009
For ITI (PH) Sundernagar: 08.08.2009 – All categories and all trades
For payment seats: 10.08.2009 – All categories and all trades
Candidates from Lahaul will appear for admission in the office of the Principal ITI Udaipur Distt Lahaul & Spiti and the Candidates from Pangi (at Killar) Distt Chamba will appear for admission in the office of the Resident Commissioner Pangi (at Killar) on 06.08.2009 and candidates from Spiti Sub-Division in the office of the Additional Deputy Commissioner Spiti at Kaza on 06.08.2009 for admission in ITI Rong-Tong.
Second Counseling for admission: 24.08.2009 – All categories and all trades
Final Counseling for admission: 03.09.2009 – All categories and all trades
Note: i. Candidates are likely to overstay in case the admission is not finalized on the same day.
. Candidates not appearing for admission on the date mentioned above shall have not claim for admission. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained
. No TA/DA will be given to the candidates coming for admission/interview
. No separate interview letter will be sent to the candidates coming for admission/interview.
. Candidates selected for admission will have to deposit dues/fee at the time of his/her selection failing which his/her selection will stand cancelled out rightly and next candidates as per merit will be considered for admission
. Prospectus will be available after 26.06.2009 in all the ITIs in Himachal Pradesh
. Regular classes will be started w.e.f. 17.08.2009
