Admission to(1) M.B.A, (2) M.C.A. Degree Programme 2008-2009Advertisement No.855/EA4/2008-2009Applications are invited for admission to (1) M.B.A. (Regular), (2) M.B.A. (Part-Time) and (3) M.C.A. Degree Programmes offered at the College of Engineering Guindy Campus, Anna University, Chennai.Eligibility: Candidates must have appeared for TANCET 2008 in the respective programme(s).1) M.B.A (Regular) and M.B.A (Part time): should be a pass in any degree of minimum (10+2+3) years duration.2) M.C.A: should be a pass in any degree of minimum (10+2+3) years duration in any discipline with core mathematics at plus two level (or) with mathematics or statistics as one of the subjects at the degree level.Mode of selection : Based on the marks obtained in the respective Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET)2008 conducted by Anna University Chennai.Separate application has to be submitted for 1) M.B.A.(Regular), 2) M.B.A (Part time) and M.C.A Degree programme.Application forms can be obtained in the following three modes:In person: On payment by cash or demand draft (Rs. 300/-for General category and Rs.150 for SC/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu on production of copy of community certificate ) at the examination centre , Anna University Chennai.By post : by sending DD Rs.350/- (Rs.200/- for SC/ST candidates belonging too Tamil Nadu), (including postal charges) along with a requisition letter and a self addressed slip to the director, Admissions , Examination Centre, Anna University Chennai, Chennai-600 025.By downloading from the website: www.annauniv.edu/mba2008 (for M.B.A) and www.annauniv.edu/mca2008 (for M.C.A.).The registration fee is in the form of DD for Rs.300/- (Rs.150/- for SC/ST Candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu)The filled in applications should be sent to the Director, Admissions, Anna university Chennai, Chennai-600025.All DDs should be drawn in favour of the Director, Admissions, Anna University Chennai payable at Chennai obtained from any nationalized bank of or after 25.05.2008.IMPORTANT DATES:Date of issue of application in person and by post: 28-05-2008Last date for issue and submission of filled in application in person & by post: 13-06-2008For details visit www.annauniv.edu and contact Telephone No. 044-22203606.REGISTRAR
