ELIGIBILITY:
Any Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science (Special/General with Biotechnology, Biology, Botany, Chemistry, Microbiology, Zoology, Biochemistry, Physics, etc), Agriculture, Medical Sciences, Pharmacy, Ayurved, Veterinary Sciences, Technology, Engineering of a University Recognized by the AIU.
Candidates seeking admission to MBA (Biotechnology) programme (intake capacity 60 seats) should apply for AIMS Test for Management Admission scheduled on 8/2/2009.
SLELECTION PROCESS:
Based on overall merit of ATMA score and GD/PI conducted by PUMBA.
50% seats are reserved for SC, ST, DTNT and OBC category students as per Government of Maharashtra rules. 3% seats are reserved for Physically Handicapped students as per government of India rules.
1 seat is reserved for J&K student as per rules.
Candidates need to qualify ATMA test being conducted on 8th February 2009.
Last date for obtaining ATMA application kit is 17th January 2009.

The prospectus and the application form are available from 5/1/2009 upto 15/4/2009 at PUMBA office on payment of DD of Rs.900 (for reserved category Rs.700) in favor of "The Registrar, University of Pune", payable at Pune from any nationalized Bank. Forms can also be obtained by post by sending a DD of Rs.950/- (for reserved category Rs.750)

The Department of Management Sciences, University of Pune's two year full time MBA (Biotechnology) Degree program.
Eligibility: The candidate should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science (Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Botany, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Marine Biology, Microbiology, Zoology), Agriculture, Ayurved, Medicine, Engineering, Pharmacy, Technology, Veterinary Sciences from a statutory University.
Reservations: As per the Government of Maharashtra rules, 50 per cent seats are reserved for the SC, ST, DT, NT OBC category students. 3 per cent seats (2 seats) are reserved for the physically handicapped students as per the Government rules.
Selection process: Candidate seeking admission this program for the academic year 2008 should appear for the ATMA written test being conducted on February 10th, 2008.
