Admission Notice Academic Year 2008-2010

A Two Year Post Graduate Diploma in

ACTUARIAL SCIENCES

Duration: Its a Full time, four semesters, two year programme.

Eligibility: Graduates of any disci;ine with a Firt class pass (60% of pass marks) and with Mathematics for Statistics as a main subject will be eligible to apply. Applications should compulsorily fulfill the eligibility criteria for enrolling as student memebers of the Institute of Acturies of India, Mumbai. (www.acturiesindia.org)
The Medium of instruction at final stage of examination should be English.

Selection Process: Entrance Test (Foundation course standard) and Personal Interview.

Fee Structure: Registration fees: Rs.500/- Entrance examination Fees: Rs.1000/-, Course Fee:$3,00,000/- Per anum.

Overseas applicants: Registration Fees:$25, Entrance examination Fees:$50, Course Fee:$13,000 per anum

Course content is synchronous with the syllabus of acturial professional stadies of India and London and prepares students to write the examination of the actuarial professional bodies of India and/or London and helps become professional actuaries.

Applications can be downloaded from Institute's Website. Completed application form along with a registration fee of Rs.500/- and Rs.1000/- towards examination fees should be forwarded to the Institute. Defective applications without registration fees will not be considered.
