ISI OPENS ADMISSION

Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) has invited applications for the following programme:
3 year B Stat(Hons)
3 Year B Math (Hons)
2 Year M Stat
2 Year M Math
2 Year Master of Science (MS) in Library and Information Science
2 Year M Tech in Quality, Reliability and Operations Research.

Stipend will be given to eligible candidates.

Junior Research Fellowships in Statistics, Mathematics, Quantitative Economics, Computer Science, Biological Anthropology, Physics and Applied Mathematics, Agriculture and Ecology, Sociology, Geology, Human Genetics, Psychology, Demography, Library and Information Science are also offered. Fellowship for applicants with ME/Mtech or equivalent is Rs.9000/- per month and for other is Rs.8000/- per month. A Special fellowship of Rs.12000/- per month is also available for outstanding candidates in each of the subjects.

Selection of candidates is based on academic record, written tests, and interviews conducted by the Institute. Prospectus and application form can be obtained from various ISI centers till 29th February, 2008 or can be downloaded from the website.
