Undergraduate/ Postgraduate Degree Course

Applications are invited from the Foreign Students under self-financing category for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses under three Faculties of Jadavpur University

Students holding passport of foreign countries including people of Indian origin who have acquired the nationality of foreign countries are considered as Foreign Students.


The students are to apply within : 30 April
Acceptance will be communicated on: 19 May
Admission will be completed : 01-07 July
Classes will commence on : 1st July

Application Forms and Information Brochure with eligibility criteria will be available from 25.03.2008 for admission in the following Master Degree Courses of Engineering/Technology/Architecture/Pharmacy for the Session 2008-09:

Architecture, Automobile, Biomedical, Civil, Chemical, Computer Science & Engineering, Control System, Computer Technology, Clinical Pharmacy, Distributed & Mobile Computing, Electrical, Electronics & Telecommunication, Energy Science & Technology, Food Technology & Biochemical, Illumination, Instrumentation, I.T. (Courseware), Intelligent Automation & Robotics, Mechanical, Metallurgy, Material, Multimedia Development, Nano Science & Technology, Pharmacy, Production, Power, Software, VLSI Design & Microelectronics, Water Resources.

Applicants are advised to submit the Application Form either Online OR to download the application form and information brochure from their University website: www.jadavpur.edu. Before filling up the application form applicants are to read the Information Brochure carefully. Properly filled in downloaded application form OR Photocopy of the acknowledgement of the online submission along with the Bank Draft of Rs.100/- has to be sent to the Principal Secretary, Faculty Council of Engineering & Technology, Jadavpur University. No application form will be considered after the last date i.e. 11.04.2008.
