MBA Program in Power Management (2008-10) – VII Batch(Approved by AICTE and affiliated to Maharashi Dayanand University, Rohtak)

Through CAT Score (Conducted by IIMs)

Candidates desirous of joining the MBA in Power Management Program of NPTI for the academic session 2008-2010 have to necessarily appear for the CAT 2007 exam (for both Sponsored & Non-sponsored categories) conducted by IIMs on 18th November 2007 at various centers across India.

OBJECTIVE:
This is a pioneering venture of two years duration to develop world-class Business Managers with a thorough understanding of Power Sector.

ELIGIBILITY:
B.E. or equivalent (General – 60% Marks in aggregate of all semester, SC/ST –Min Pass Marks)

SELECTION:
CAT Score followed by GD and Interview at NPTI, Faridabad. SEBs, Utilities and Private Sector Organizations may also sponsor candidates, for whom CAT score is mandatory.

HOW TO APPLY:
Application form along with the Prospectus can be obtained in cash from NPTI, Faridabad or by post from Principal, Director (CAMPS), NPTI, Sector-33. Farodabad-121003, Haryana by sending a crossed DD for Rs.800/- (Rs.400/- for SC/ST & Rs.200/- for Haryana SC/ST candidates) in favour of National Power Training Institute payable at Faridabad on or before 25th February, 2008.
The application form also be downloaded from the web site of NPTI at www.npti.nic.in In such cases, the candidate should enclose a Crossed DD of Rs. 800/- (Rs.400/- for SC/ST & Rs.200/- for Haryana SC/ST candidates) along with application form. Filled in applications may be sent to Principal Director (CAMPS), National Power Training Institute, NPTI Complex, Sector-33, Faridabad-121003, Haryana to reach on or before 22-02-2008.

NOTE: NPTI uses CAT scores for short-listing candidates for the MBA program. IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the Program.
