Applications are invited in the prescribed form for full-time Post Graduate courses in Mechanical Engineering, conducted under Industry-Institution joint programme leading to M.E. Degree for the academic year 2008-09.1) Master of Engineering (M.E.) - Mech. - CAD/CAMQualification : B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Mechatronics/equivalent with minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying examination from the Institutions approved by AICTE. The GATE rank holders also need to qualify themselves in the Entrance Test.Course Fee : Rs.31,500/- per semester admitted under self-sponsored category and Rs.39,000/- per semester for Industry sponsored category. In addition, the candidates have to pay one time Autonomous fee of Rs.6000/- to University College of Engineering (Autonomous) at the time of admission.No. of Seats - For full-time(a) Self sponsored - 20 Seats(b) Industrial sponsored - 05 Seats2) Master of Engineering (M.E.) - Tool DesignQualification : B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering of its equivalent with minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying examination from the Institutions approved by AICTE. A self addressed envelope (size 26 cm x 13 cm) duly fixed with Rs.15/- stamp also should be sent. Application forms can also be downloaded from our website www.citdindia.org. A crossed Demand Draft for Rs.300/-(Rs.100/- for SC/ST candidates and fully exempted for PWD category candidates) drawn in favor of Principal Director, Central Institute of Tool Design, Balanagar, Hyderabad-500037 on any Nationalised Bank payable at Hyderabad should be enclosed along with the downloaded application form.Candidates seeking admission under non-sponsored, sponsored category have to indicate order of preference in the application form. The successful candidates from GATE exam also need to qualify themselves in the Entrance Examination for PGTD Course.B) Candidates who wish to consider their application under sponsored category also, should submit the sponsoring letter and experience certificate along with the application. No age limit for sponsored category candidates.
