Applications are invited for a Short term Certificate course in Communication skills in English organized by the Centre for English Language Teaching, University of Kerala.  Those who wish to join the course should submit their application along with a fee receipt of Rs. 2500/- paid to Kerala University Fund under Major Head 49(U).  The minimum qualification for the course is a degree from any recognized university.  

The application form can be downloaded from here or can be obtained from Centre for English Language Teaching and addressed to the Director, Centre for English Language Teaching, Institute of English Buildings, University of Kerala, Palayalam, Senate House Campus, Thiruvananthapuram-34.

Eligibility:

1. Resident of any state in India can apply.

2. A Pass in Plus Two or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with minimum 40% marks. In the absence of candidates with the above qualification, a pass7h Plus Two with any other group as optional subjects can be considered with usual relaxation to SC/ST candidates as per government rules.

3. Age between 17 to 27 years as on 01.10.2012 with usual relaxation to SC/ST and backward communities.
