ADMISSION TO M.TECH. PROGRAMMES FOR ACADEMIC SESSION 2008-2009

ABV-IIITM, Gwalior is a Premier Institute set up by MHRD, Government of India with the objective of imparting education and conducting research in the filed of Information Technology and IT – enabled Management. The Institute offers 2 years M.Tech., 2 Years MBA and 5 years Integrated P.G. courses leading to (B.Tech. + MBA)/(B.Tech.+MBA)/(B.Tech+M.Tech) as well as Doctoral Programme. The Institute employs flexible curriculum delivery system that suits both academic and professional development and encourages students to take projects jointly supervised by Institute and Industry, National/ International Experts.

The Institute invites applications for admission to its M.Tech. Programmes for the sessions 2008-2009.

PROGRAMS OFFERED BY THE INSTITUET: M.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering with specialization in areas of Advanced Network VLSI Design, Visual Information Processing, Information Security, Digital Communication.

Admission Procedure:
1. Candidates with a Bachelor degree in Computer Science & Engineering/Electronics & Communication Engineering/Electrical Engineering with minimum 60% marks or CGPA 6.75 on a 10 point scale (in case SC/ST/PH candidates relaxation in CGPA to 6.25 or 55% marks) and must have qualified GATE examination with a valid GATE score in the qualifying degree disciplines. However, the Institute reserves all rights to decide cut off GATE score.
2. Candidates desirous of seeking admission to M.Tech. Programs at ABV-IITM, Gwalior may download the application form and other relevant information form the Institute’s web site www.iiitm.ac.in.
3. Duly filled up application form should be submitted to the Assistant Registrar ABV-IIITM Morena Link Road, Gwalior-IITM, Gwalior payable at Gwalior not later than 15th April, 2008. Contact No.0751-2449704, 812.
4. Names of Short listed candidates to be called of Written Test & Interview will be displayed only on the Institute website form 21st April, 2008.
5. Written Test and Interviews for Short listed candidates would be held on 4th & 5th May, 2008 at ABV-IIITM, Gwalior.
6. Selected candidates would have to deposit the tuition fee by 12th May, 2008 through DD of Rs.14,500/- drawn in favour of ‘Director, ABV-IIITM, Gwalior”.
