Offers scholarships under 'TIFERS' Scheme to 1 year B.Tech. Programme (EC/CS/IT/EE/ME/CE) & MBA.

TIFERS (TIST Foundation of Economically Backward Rural Students) is a wing of TIST foundation for the welfare of economically backward rural students for pursuing higher studies in Enginering and Management. The scholarship offered by TIFERS falls under the following three categories.
Full Tuition fees + Boarding + Lodging
Full Tuition fees
Partial Tuition fees

TIFERS also offers a book bank scheme to provide derving students with text books free of cost.

CRITERIA
Students resideing in a rural area and their parent's annual income less than 60,000/- per annum and having no regular income.
Having good academic records, but unable to pursue higher studies.
Eligibility: as per norms prescribed by Cochin University of Science & Technology and Kerala Government
Selection based on written test and interview by the institute.
