Uttarakhand Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination ((UPGMEE-2010)

Kumaun University, Nainital , Uttarakhand will conduct Uttarakhand Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination ((UPGMEE-2010)) on 21st February, 2010 (Sunday) for admission to MD/MS/Diploma Courses in Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, Jolly Grant, Dehradun for the year 2010, against the State Quota of seats.

ELIGIBILTY CRITERIA
The competitive Entrance Examination shall be open to such candidates who
have passed the MBBS Examination from Uttarakhand (Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, Jolly Grant, Dehradun and Uttaranchal Forest Trust Hospital and College, Haldwani) and were admitted through competitive examination not through NRI/ Management Quota.

are domicile of Uttarakhand and have passed MBBS Examination from Medical College of other States and were admitted through 15% All India Quota (Vide Supra).

are domicile of Uttarakhand and have passed MBBS Examination from the State Medical Colleges of Uttar Pradesh State (i.e. Meerut, Kanpur, Agra, Jhansi, Allahabad, Gorakhpur and Lucknow) and were admitted through Combined Pre Medical Test conducted by the Government of UP. have completed Rotatory Compulsory Internship on or before 31st March, 2010.

Information Brochure and Application form can be downloaded from the website www.kuntl.in and www.kunainital.in from 31st January, 2010 onwards. The duly completed application forms must be submitted to the Registrar (UPGMEE-2010), Kumaun University, Nainital 263 001 by 17th February, 2010. The application form must be accompanied with a Demand Draft of Rs. 5,000.00 (Rupees five thousand only) payable to the Registrar (UPGMEE-2010), Kumaun University, Nainital. The candidates shall be informed about their eligibility over telephone and through the website and they can collect their admit cards from the office of Registrar (UPGMEE-2010) on 20th Feb,’10 (10am to 4pm) or on 21st Feb’10 from exam centre (8am to 10am). Admit cards shall not be issued after 10am of 21st Feb’10.
