Post Graduate Diploma in Management Admission 2010

PGDM Programme is meant for those who want to shape their career in management and excel in it. The unique courseware has been designed to ensure that the management graduates of ACCMAN develop a judicious blend of strategic thinking and tactical implementation, specialized knowledge and general management skills. The programme follows a six trimesters, including compulsory summer training after completion of the first year.

In the three trimesters during the first year, the focus is primarily on basic courses to build a foundation of conceptual and analytical skills required for more specialized study in various functional areas to be pursued in the second year of the programme. In the second year the students have to opt for 12 electives in addition to the compulsory core courses. This enables the students to pursue in depth learning in the area of their specialization. The electives cover a minimum two functional areas which equip the students with multiple functional skills.
Eligibilty: Minimum 3 years of Bechelor’s degree or equivalent with 50% marks in any discipline from a recognized University in India.

Short Listing: The criteria for short listing candidates for GD and interviews are based on multiple factors like:
1. Performance at National Level entrance tests CAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA.
2. Past academic performance, work experience, if any, in terms of job content and organization, performance in extra curricular activities, other interests and accomplishments.
ACCMAN uses CAT for short listing the candidates for two year fulltime PGDM Programmes (IIMs have no role either in the selection process or the conduct of the programmes).

Selection Procedure: Final selection is based on the overall performance at Interview, GD, Entrance Tests, Past Academic Record and work experience.
