The Institute of Health Management Research (IHMR) Jaipur, a premier Institute in the field of Health Management Education, Research and Training, which is formerly known as Indian Institute of Health Management Research, has invited applications for admission to its postgraduate programme in Hospital and Health Management. The IHMR is a WHO Collaborating Centre for District Health Systems based on Primary Health Care and has technical collaboration with the Johns Hopin University, USA and New Jersey Institute of Technology, USA. These tie ups provide an excellent opportunity for international experience and assignments. The Institute has excellent hostels, a computer lab, a library and recreation facilities.

The Postgraduate Program is a two-year full time program offering specialization in
Hospital Management
Health Management
Pharmaceutical Management

The Program prepares students for exciting careers in managerial positions in corporate hospitals, pharmaceutical companies and international bilateral and national health care organizations. The program has been recognized by the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi as equivalent to MBA degree of Indian Universities. The Program has been awarded the accreditation status by the National Board of Accreditation.

Eligibility: Graduates in any discipline with an aggregate of 50 per cent marks are eligible. The candidates must have taken any one of Management Aptitude Test (MAT –Sept 2, Dec. –2, 2007 & Feb. 3, May – 4, 2008) conducted by AIMA. The final selections will be made through group discussion and interview to be held at the Institute.

However, mid-career professionals, gradates (with a minimum of 2 years’ work experience in the health care sector after graduation) are exempted form MAT and are eligible for direct admission through group discussion and interview. Application forms will be available at the Institute on payment of Rs.500/- in cash or through a demand draft in faovur of “IIHMR” payable at Jaipur.
