A six month Distance Participation Training Program for those who are interested in this progressive and rapidly expanding field of Nanoscience & Nanotechnology. This program focuses on providing a broad knowledge base and present/ prospective applications in the areas of Nanotechnology. This program also provides a comprehensive insight to the candidates for making an exciting and rewarding career in this emerging domain of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.

According to the National Science Foundation (USA) “Nano-related business could be a $1 trillion market by 2015, making it not only one of the fastest growing industries in history but also larger than the combines Telecommunications and Information Technology Industries at the beginning of the technology boom in 1998”. As per another study done by Nanotechnology Victoria the preliminary figures indicate that he number of new graduates needed by 2015 in order to support Nanotechnology research based industry is over 10 lakhs Nanotechnology-skilled personnel.
NSTC is a non-governmental, privately managed and promoted body, which aims to provide, or facilitate in providing of the services that lead to – awareness creation, research and development, consultancy, collaborations, technology transfer and commercialization in the field of Nanotechnology, NSTC’s mission is to strengthen the nanotechnology businesses community.
