ADMISSIONS 2009-2010


Eligibility:

Higher Secondary (10+2) (Science) or equivalent.

Students from Arts/Commerce stream may be admitted after completion of

6 (Six) months Pre-Optometry & Pre-Technology course. No extra time necessary for this course. This course and Original course will run simultaneously during the same period.

Age: Minimum age for admission (either six) is 17 (Seventeen) years.

Selection: Candidates have to appear before a board of selection committee or am entrance examination will be taken as per decision of the authority for selection. Candidates will be informed about the date of selection test while submitting the application form by hand. In case of submission of application form by post, a self addressed stamped (For registered post) envelope of 11 X 25 cm. size must be provided for delivery of the admit card by post. List of selected candidates will be displayed in the notice board of the college.

Total Seats: In each course, seats are limited. 10 % of the total seats in each course are reserved for candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC category.


How To Apply:

Application for admission is to be made in prescribed application form along with Cash/DD of Rs. 150/- (Rupees one hundred and fifty only) as fee for admission test (Non Refundable) payable in favour of Dr. K. R. Adhikary College of Optometry and Paramedical Technology.

The completed application form addressed to the Administrator-cum-Principal should be submitted in the office of the main college building in hand/by post before 31st October 2009.
