Applications are invited for admission to the Ph.D. Programme of the Institute in all disciplines of Engineering and Technology, Science, Architecture and Planning, Humanities and Social Sciences and Management.

Admission to reserved category candidates will be done as per Government of India notification

A limited number of Institute Research Assistantships are available as per MHRD norms subject to the conditions prescribed in the Institute regulations

Post-Doctoral fellowship: A limited number of fellowships are available to carry out advanced research in all the disciplines as mentioned above. Interested candidates having a Ph.D. degree may apply for Post-doctoral fellowships in all the disciplines mentioned above

Application form, downloadable from www.iitr.ernet.in should be sent to the Chairman, PG Admission-2010, IIT Roorkee, Roorkee-247667 along with a DD of Rs. 200/- drawn in favour of ‘Chairman, PG Admission, IIT Roorkee’ payable at Roorkee latest by 30.10.2009.

Application form may also be obtained from Chairman, PG Admission, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Roorkee-247667 by sending a demand draft of Rs. 250/- in favour of Chairman, PG Admission, Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee-247667 and a self addressed envelope (30 x 25 cm)
