The Icfai Institute of Science and Technology (IcfaiTech) providing a quality education and training in the fields of science and technology. The IcfaiTech campuses are currently located at Agartala, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Dehradun, Hyderabad, and Jaipur. And also, new campuses are proposed to be established at Chandigarh, Indore, Kolkata, Pantnagar and Ranchi. Necessary infrastructure and other facilities are now being put in place, so that these campuses will be operational well before the new academic session commences in August 2008.

Academic Programm in Icfai:

This institute is following an innovative and contemporary approach in the field of technical education. The main highlights of this course include; Cutting-edge course curriculum incorporating contemporary and effective pedagogic methods, with emphasis on both fundamentals and applications. Training students to identify and solve problems in science and technology. Ensuring multidisciplinary learning through internships, workshop practices, and group learning assignments. The objectives of IcfaiTech are to be a highly purposive, innovative institution suitable and relevant to the Indian economic milieu, setting the standards in professional education, to offer practice-oriented, contemporary, and flexible programs developed through regular assessment and consultation with leading institutions, employers, academicians, and practitioners and to provide highly motivated and successful science and technology graduates to meet the current and projected needs of the Indian and the global economy.


The B.Tech. Program is a four-year, eight-semester, full-time campus program. The Program provides cutting edge education to equip students with a comprehensive and critical understanding in various branches of engineering. The following branches of engineering are offered: Biotechnology, Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communications Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.


Admission Process: Admission to the B.Tech. Program is through the Admission Test for IcfaiTech (ATIT) 2008. Students may also be admitted to the program based on their rank in AIEEE 2008 (All India Engineering Entrance Examination) which is being conducted by CBSE on 27th April 2008.


Eligibility: Students who pass with 60% and above aggregate in 10+2 or its equivalent with pass in each of Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, and final year students awaiting examinations and results are eligible to apply for the Program.


AWARD

Students who score the first and second ranks on completion of the B.Tech. Program will be awarded a Gold medal and a Silver medal respectively.


This programs are Offered at 10 Cities – 100% Placement - 562 alumni working in 112 blue-chip companies - Over 60 alumni pursing higher studies abr0ad.

ELIGIBILITY:
Pass in 10+2 (MPC) with aggregate 60% and above.
10+2 (MPC) students awaiting final year examinations and results.

ADMISSION TEST (ATIT)
Date: May, 04, 2008 from 10 am to 1 pm at 92 Test Centres all over India.
