Gautam Buddh Technical University, Lucknow is conducting State Entrance Examination - UPSEE-2013 (known as U PTU-SEE) on 21st April, 2013 for admission to degree courses in Engineering B.TechV B.Tech. (Ag. Engg.V Pharmacy (B.Pharm.yArchitecture (B.Arch.yHotel Management (BHMCTVFashion & Apparel Design (BFAD) of Govt. Aided and private unaided institutions affiliated to Gautam Buddh Technical University, Lucknow and Mahamaya Technical University, Noida along with some of the other State Universities of Uttar Pradesh for the academic session 2013-14.
The examination for admission to first year of MBA/MCA/MAM (Dual Degree 5 years)course to Govt, aided and Private unaided institutions affiliated to Gautam Buddh Technical University, Lucknow and Mahamaya Technical University, Noida along with some other State Universities of Uttar Pradesh for academic session 2013-2014 will be conducted ON-LINE(COMPUTER
BASED ENTRANCETEST) on 201h &27th Aprl 1,2013.

ELIGIBILITY TO APPEAR IN UPSEE-2013 (Details of eligibility are available In Information Brochure):-
1. For admission to the first year of B.Tech./ B.Tech. (Ag. Engg.)/ B.Pharm./ BHMCT/ BFAD candidate must have passed
intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University as given in Information brochure of UPSEE-2013. The candidate must have clearly passed with minimum 45% marks for General & OBC and 40% for SC/ST candidates in aggregate in the subject groups mentioned in the information Brochure UPSEE-2013 without grace marks.
2. For admission to the first year of B.Arch., a candidate must have passed intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University; securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate. The candidate is essentially required to pass in each subject of the compulsory and optional subjects mentioned in the information Brochure of UPSEE-2013 without grace marks.
A candidate possessing three year Diploma in Architecture (10+3) recognized by Central/ State Govt., securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate is also eligible for admission to the first year of B. Arch. only.The candidates will have to appear in the Entrance Examination UPSEE-2013for admission to firstyear of B. Arch, (paper-4) as mentioned above.
3. For admission to the first year of MBA course, candidate must have passed bachelor's degree course of minimum three year duration from any recognized university of India. The candidate must have clearly passed without grace marks with an aggregate of minimum 50% marks for General & OBC and 45% for SC/ST candidates.
4. For admission to the first year of MCA, candidate must have passed bachelor's degree course of minimum three years duration from any recognized university with Mathematics as a subject at 10+2 level or graduate level. The candidate must have clearly passed without grace marks with an aggregate of minimum 50% marks for General & OBC and 45% for SC/ST candidates.
5. For admission to first year of MAM course (Dual degree), a candidate must have passed Intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level of examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board/University and securing minimum 45% marks without grace (40% for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate.
6. For admission to the second year (lateral entry) of B.Tech., the candidate must have passed three years Diploma in Engineering course; securing minimum 45% for General & OBC (40% In case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) marks In aggregate or three years B.Sc. degree and passed XII standard with Mathematics as one subject; securing minimum 45% for General & OBC (40% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) marks in aggregate in B.Sc. as per details provided in the brochure.
7. For admission to the second year (lateral entry) of B.Pharm., the candidate must have passed Diploma in Pharmacy course; securing minimum 45% for General & OBC (40% In case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) marks In aggregate as perdetails provided in the brochure.
8. The candidates appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible to appear in State Entrance Examination-2013 subject to the condition that they must fulfill the eligibility criteria at the time of counseling.
9. The details of admissions for NRI and Kashmiri migrants will be published later, in the month of May, 2013 according to the norms to be laid down by the Govtof U.P./AIGTE.Such candidates need not appear in UPSEE-2013.
10. State Govt, has permitted 20% of total sanctioned seats available in Private Institutions to be filled up on the basis of JEE-MAINS-2013 merit for admissions to Engineering & Technology / Architecture courses. Out of which 10% seats will be filled by U. P. domicile candidates on U.P. State merit using State reservation policy, and the remaining of 10% seats will be filled through Al I India Merit Candidates without reservation subject to the eligibility conditions given in the brochure.
11. State Govt, has also permitted 20% of total sanctioned seats available for admission for MBA course in Private Institutions to be filled on the basis of CMAT-2013 merit (Common Management Admission Test) subject to the eligibility conditions given in the brochure through CMAT-2013.


COST OF BROCHURE and OMR APPLICATION FORM/ONLINE APPLICATION INCLUSIVE OF EXAM FEE: Rs. 1000.00 for General / OBC candidates & Rs. 500.00 for SC/ST and Female candidates of all categories.
For admission to B.Tech., B.Tech. (Ag. Engg.), B.Tech. (Bio-Tech.)/B.Pharm7 BHMCT/BFAD/B.Tech. (Second year Lateral Entry) courses the application form may be filled online or through OMR Application form.

2. The Information Brochure containing OMR Application form will be available to the candidates from 1st March, 2013 to 21st March, 2013 (both days inclusive) from all Head Post Offices and Mukhya Dak Ghars (MDGs) of U.P., New Delhi & Dehradun.The last dates of receipt of duly filled OMR Application form in the office of the Registrar (UPSEE-2013), Gautam Buddh Technical University, IET Campus, Sitapur Road, Lucknow-226021 will be 5.00 P.M., 25th March, 2013.

The OMR based Applications/ Confirmation Page should be sent to the University office by Registered / Speed Post only. The OMR based Application form / Confirmation Page received after the due date or through any other means shall not be accepted. Eligibility criteria for candidates

MDS in Oral & maxillofacial Surgery (recognized by DCI) with exposure to Cleft Lip-Palate Surgeries

Eligibility:
Nationality:
Admission to professional courses in State of Goa is open to Indian nationals fulfilling the eligibility criteria under various categories. Non-resident Indians holding Indian passport may also apply for seats reserved under NRI category. Overseas Citizens of India (OCI)  / Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) cardholders are considered eligible for admissions to seats under NRI Category.

Foreign Nationals and Persons of Indian Origin holding non-Indian passport must apply to Govt. of India.

Age:
An applicant to Degree courses in Medicine, Dentistry and Homoeopathy must have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the academic year of admission to become eligible for admission to First Year. No age limit, minimum or maximum, is specified for admission to Engineering, Pharmacy and Architecture.

Qualifying Examination & Minimum Marks:
An applicant must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination of the Goa Board or an examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, or any other examination, which in scope and standard, is deemed to be equivalent to the H.S.S.C. examination of Goa Board, and must have obtained the minimum percentage of marks in the specific subjects, as prescribed for the admission to respective professional courses, as under.

a. First Year MBBS, BDS and BHMS
Applicant should have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (Std. XII) examination of Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with English and secured not less than 50% marks in the aggregate of subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology taken together. (40% for the applicants belonging to SC, ST and OBC only and 45% for applicants belonging to PH category for MBBS and BDS Course).

b. First Year BE
The applicant should have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std.XIIth) examination of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with English, Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with one of the following subjects Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Biology and secured not less than 45%* marks in the aggregate of subjects of Physics & Mathematics with one of the following subjects Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Biology. (40%* for the applicants belonging to SC, ST and OBC only).

c. First Year BPharm
The applicant should have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std.XIIth) examination of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with English, Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects with one of the following subjects Mathematics / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Biology and secured not less than 45%* marks in the aggregate of subjects of Physics & Chemistry with one of the following subjects Mathematics / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Biology. (40%* for the applicants belonging to SC, ST and OBC only). As per Pharmacy Council of India Regulations, candidates passing Senior Secondary School examination conducted by National Open School, New Delhi are not approved /eligible for admissions to BPharm.

d. First Year BArch:
The applicant should have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std.XIIth) examination of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects and secured at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% aggregate marks for applicants belonging to SC / ST / OBC). OR 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognised by Central / State Governments with 50% aggregate marks. OR International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling, with not less than 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination.

Applicants scoring minimum 80/200 at NATA will be eligible for admission to BArch

e. Kashmiri Migrants Only in Engineering Courses:
The applicant should have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std.XIIth) examination or its equivalent examination with English, Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with one of the following subjects Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Biology and secured not less than 45% marks in the subjects of Physics & Mathematics with one of the following subjects Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Biology.

Applications:
The prospectus shall be available at notified places on payment of Rs. 800/- in cash (Extra service charge notified payable to designated branches of notified Bank.)

Outstation candidates can obtain the prospectus and application form by sending request to Director, Directorate of Technical Education, Alto- Porvorim, Goa, 403521 along with a DD of Rs.800/- payable in favour of “Director of Technical Education” at Panaji. Candidates may utilize downloaded Application Form –A for appearing at GCET-13 and submit the same in person at notified Application Reception Centre as per centre opted, along with a DD of Rs. 800/- (towards the prospectus fee) and the test fee of Rs.600/- by demand draft payable in favour of “Director of Technical Education” at Panaji – Goa, drawn on any Scheduled Bank and three identical photographs as indicated, and other relevant certificates (self-attested photo copies) to obtain the Photo-Admit Card, from the Admission Committee. Admit cards will be issued only to candidates in person.
