Admission Notice for BE / BTech for Outside Rajasthan Candidate Only


Applications are invited from such candidates only who belong to any State other than Rajasthan State for admission to 1st year of degree engineering courses on the basis of AIEEE rank on 15% seats in the Private Unaided Engineering Institutions and 15% seats in the Self-Financed Courses in Govt. Aided Engineering Institutions of Rajasthan State (except MNIT, BITS Pilani and other deemed and Private universities).

Eligibility:
The candidate who belongs to any State other than Rajasthan and must have passed 10+2 examination with the subjects as per AIEEE norms. The candidates having zero or negative AIEEE Rank will not be eligible.
Age Limit: Only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 01, 1984 are eligible. However in the case of Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe(ST) and Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates, upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years, i.e. SC, ST and PH candidates who were born on or after October 01, 1979 are eligible. Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education marksheet / certificate only will be taken as authentic.

Merit List:
A common merit list of all the eligible candidates shall be declared on the basis of All India Rank in AIEEE.
The merit list will be available on our websites on 16th July 2009.

Counseling through Option Form: The counselling shall be carried out through option form on the basis of the merit and options filled by the candidate in the option form. The candidates are required to fill up the option form (which is available on the website) and submit it along with the prescribed application form. The seats available for Out of Rajasthan candidates in the colleges situated in Rajasthan i.e. SEAT MATRIX is available on the website. The Institute and Branch codes are available in the seat matrix itself. The allotment of seats will be strictly according to the merit of the candidate and as per the options filled by candidate in the option form. The allotment of the Institutes and Branch will be available on the website on 17th July, 2009. If a candidate does not report in the allotted institution the his/her fees (i.e. Rs. 10,000/-) deposited along with the option form will be forefeited.

How To Apply:
Demand Draft with Application Form: 11000/- in favour of Coordinator RPET-2009 payable at Jodhpur. The description of this amount is as stated below:

1. For Delhi Region seats through CEE-2009:
Applications are invited from the candidates, who appeared in CEE-2009 conducted by University of Delhi for admission to B.E. Courses under Faculty of Technology (University of Delhi) in Delhi College of Engineering (DCE) and Netaji Subhas Institute of Technolgy (NSIT). Admission will be made from amongst those, who will apply on the prescribed form strictly on the basis of Rank of CEE-2009.

2. For Outside Delhi Region seats through AIEEE-2009:
Applications are also invited from the candidates, who have appeared in AIEEE-2009 and have been declared eligible for Central Counselling by CBSE, for admission to B.E. Courses in the above two institutes for 15% seats for outside Delhi Region. Admission will be made on the basis of Rank of AIEEE-2009.

The application form can be obtained from the Reception Counter, Administrative Building, Delhi College of Engineering, Shahbad Daulatpur, Main Bawana Road, Delhi-110042 in person on all working days from Monday to Friday between 10.00 AM to 4.00 PM on submission of a Pay Order or Crossed Demand Draft of Rs. 500/-.

The Application form can also be obtained through post by sending a Demand Draft of Rs. 600/- (inclusive of postal charges) along with three address slips (10cm x 5cm) to which the application form is to be sent. M Phil Degree courses (Full-Time / Part-Time)

Applications are invited for admission to M Phil Degree courses (Full-Time / Part-Time) in the following Colleges affiliated to this University, for the year 2009-2010.

Eligibility Condition for Admission:
Full Time (One year): A Master's degree in the concerned subject of the University of Madras or any other University recognized by the Syndicate as equivalent thereto, provided that those who have qualified for the Master's degree prior to 1st January 1991 must have secured a minimum of 50 percent of marks and those who have qualified for the master's degree on or after 1st January 1991 must have secured a minimum of 55 percent of marks. For SC/ST. Physically Handicapped & Visually Challenged candidates who have qualified on or after 1" January 1991 a concession of 5 percent of marks shall be given in the minimum eligibility marks.


Part Time (Two years):
(i) Teachers working in the University departments /
(ii) Teachers working in Affiliated colleges whose qualifications are approved by the University /
(iii) Non-teacher candidates are eligible to do M.Phil. Part-time degree course /
(iv) Teachers of Polytechnics approved by the Director of the Technical Education or Teachers of Higher Secondary and High Schools approved either by State Board or Central Board of Secondary Education or Educational Instructors of IAF (within the Madras University area) are eligible for Part Time M.Phil for admission, provided if they have secured 55% of marks in their Master's degree obtained on or after 1.1 91 and no minimum marks is prescribed in their Master's degree obtained pnor to 1.1.91.

Similarly candidate of reserved category (B.C) obtaining 39.75 % in physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together will not be considered eligible for admission.

Indian Navy – Cadet Entry Scheme for B.Tech 2009

Indian Navy invites Applications from UNMARRIED MALE CANDIDATES (fulfilling the conditions regarding nationality as laid down by the Govt of India) to join the prestigious Naval Accademy, Ezhimala, Kerala under 10+2 (Technical) Cadet Entry Scheme

Selected Candidates will be inducted as Cadets for four year B Tech course in Electronics & Communication and Mechanical Engineering at the Naval Academy, Ezhimala Kerala. During the course cadets will be allotted Engineering or Electrical branch. On completion of the course, B Tech Degree will be awarded by Jawahar Lal Nehru University (JNU).

Few cadets after first term may be nominated for B Tech in Naval Architecture from Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT). They will have to appear for Common Admission Test of CUSAT. The successful candidates after first term will undergo four years B. Tech in Naval Architecture and and Ship Building at CUSAT. Thereafter, the cadets will be deputed for a six months course in warship design at Visakhapatnam, followed by 18 months Post Graduate Diploma in Naval Architecture
(DIIT-NC) at IIT Delhi.

The entire cost of training, including books and reading material, will be borne by the Indian Navy. The cadets will also be provided with free clothing and messing.

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS
Age. 16 % to 19 years (i.e. born between 02 Jan 1991 & 01 Jul 1993. (both dates inclusive).

Educational Qualification. Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 Pattern) or its equivalent from University/Board with at least 70 % aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and at least 50% marks in English (either in Class X or Class XII).

Physical Standards

(a) Height and Weight. Minimum height - 157 cms with correlated weight as per age.

The Entrance examination will be of 3 hours duration with 200 Multiple Choice Questions.

4. Application forms: Application forms are different for General/Service candidates and for candidates belonging to SC/ST. The format of the Application and Prospectus will be available at the official website of the CEE, "cee-kerala.org" from 01.06.2009 (Monday) onwards. The candidate, seeking admission to the course through the entrance examination, can apply in the specific format along with the documents prescribed in the Prospectus and a fee of Rs.800/- (for general candidates) / Rs.400/- (for SC/ST candidates) drawn in favour of Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram in any branch of SBT using the chalan provided along with the down loaded application form. The original chalan receipt should be attached with the application form. The candidates of Kerala origin who reside outside the state can apply in the downloaded application form along with the Demand Draft for Rs. 800/- (General candidates) and Rs. 400/- (SC/ST candidates) drawn from a Nationalised Bank in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examination payable at Thiruvananthapuram. The application form and prospectus will not be available from Medical Colleges or from the office of Director of Medical Education or from the office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. Application fee once remitted will not be refunded on any account.

Service candidates who wish to be considered for the General merit quota seats can appear for the Entrance Examination. They should forward the application to the CEE as in the case of General candidates, but through their Controlling Officer/Head of the Department on or before 25.06.2009 (Thursday). However they should send a copy of the Application form to the controlling officer concerned, if they are to be considered for service quota also along with necessary fee, as applicable in both the applications as specified.

Service candidates claiming Lecturer quota seats need not appear for the Entrance Examination. They should submit the application in the format available at the web site ~cee-kerala.org' to the Director of Medical Education/Director of Health Services before the stipulated date. They should remit the application fee of Rs.800/- (for general) and Rs.400/- (for SC/ST candidates) by chalan in the Treasury under the head of account 0210-03-105-29' and the chalan receipt should be attached along with the application form.

5. Last date and time for receipt of filled-in application forms : Completed application with all the documents specified in the Prospectus and experience certificate, should be forwarded to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Housing Board Buildings, 5th Floor, Santhinagar, Thiruvananthapuram - 695 001, either by Registered post/Speed post or hand delivery so as to reach him before 5 pm on 25.06.2009 (Thursday). Candidates applying under Service quota should send their applications and all required documents specified in the prospectus to the Director of Medical Education/ Director of Health Services, Thiruvananthapuram, so as to reach him/her before 5 pm on 25.06.2009. Candidates applying for admission under Service quota seats only, need not submit their applications to the CEE. Late applications including those brought after 5 PM on 25.06.2009 will not be accepted. The CEE or the other officers will not be responsible for any postal delay.

6. Candidates will be allowed neither to include any information in the application form nor to submit any certificates / documents claiming reservation or any benefits, after the submission of the application, under any circumstances.

7. Candidates must note that they have to obtain the required certificates in the body of the application form itself, wherever specified. The certificates that are attached separately in the application form, for such cases, will not be considered.

8. Belated, incomplete, defective and wrongly addressed applications will be summarily rejected and no correspondence will be undertaken in this regard.


9. The CEE will conduct the Entrance Examination, publish the Rank list of all candidates admitted for the Entrance Examination and forward the same to the Director of Medical Education.

ELIGIBILITY:
Candidates possessing MBBS degree from any recognized institution are eligible to apply for the course.


AGE:
The upper age limit is 45 years for in-service candidates and 35 years for others as on August 1, 2009. The upper age limit can be relaxed up to a maximum of 5 years in exceptional cases by the Admission Officer if he/she is satisfied with the merit of the case.

SEATS :
Intake will be limited to a maximum of 15 seats. (The matter regarding increase in number of seats from 15 to 20 is under consideration of the University). Of these, two seats are earmarked for World Health Organization sponsored fellows. For the remaining 13 seats, admission will be done on the basis of an entrance test. These 13 seats will be distributed in the ratio of 60% for In-Service Candidates (working in Health Institutions / Organizations in Central / State Government or Public Sector and having five years experience, of which at least three years should be in Public Health activities) and 40% for Direct Candidates.
In-Service Candidates shall, at the time of application or counseling for admission, furnish a letter from their employer that, if they are admitted, they would be relieved for two years for undertaking the course on a full-time basis at NICD. Reservation will be as per Government/University norms: 27% for Other Backward Classes; 15% for Scheduled Castes; 7.5% for Scheduled Tribes; 5% for Defence category and 3% for Physically Handicapped Candidates. One seat, which is supernumerary in nature; is earmarked for Kashmiri migrants; for which the admission will be based on the Entrance Test.

SELECTION:
Selection will be on the basis of an Entrance Test to be conducted on 5 July 2009 (Sunday) in Delhi. WHO sponsored candidates are exempted from appearing in the entrance test and such candidates will be enrolled to the University directly. Kerala University, Admission 2009

Applications in the prescribed form are invited from eligible candidates for registration for Full time/Part time Research leading to Ph.D/M.Sc (Engineering) by Research degree of the University, for the July 2009 session.

Candidates shall carryout their research in a University Department or in a Department of a college recognised as research centre or in a recognised research institution under approved guide or guides.

Only candidates who have qualified in the Entrance Test conducted by this
University or National Eligibility Test conducted by the UGC/ CSIR/ ICAR/ ICMR or
GATE or State Level Eligibility Test conducted by the Kerala Government or Fellowship awarded by the KSCSTE or who possess M.Phil degree by research and thesis, in addition to a Masters Degree or its equivalent with not less than 55% marks will be considered eligible to apply for registration for Ph.D research.

Bachelors Degree holders in Engineering with not less than 55% marks and who have qualified in the GATE or Entrance Test conducted by this University or State Level Eligibility Test conducted by the Kerala Government are eligible to apply for M.Sc (Engineering) by research course.

Candidates who have got a minimum of ten years of teaching experience at a college or University are eligible for a relaxation of 5% marks. In no cases a candidate having less than 50% marks be granted registration.

Notwithstanding the above, candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes who have secured 45% marks in Science subjects and 40% marks in Arts and Commerce subjects can apply for registration for Ph.D research, provided they satisfy the other eligibility requirements stipulated in this notification.

Physically/visually challenged candidates are eligible for a relaxation of 5% marks for registration for research leading to Ph.D Degree.

College/University teachers with seven or more years of teaching experience and candidates with D.M/M.Ch Degree are exempted from the purview of the Entrance Test. Scientists/Engineers working in approved Research Laboratories either owned or managed by the Central/State Government or in Autonomous Research Institution of National Status, with seven years experience in the Grade Scientist/Engineer having two research papers published in the recognised research journals of the concerned subject approved by the Board of Studies concerned, are exempted from the Ph.D Entrance Test

Candidates with DBT-JRF are exempted from the Ph.D. Entrance Test and they are permitted to register for research leading to Ph.D. Degree in Biotechnology.

Scientists/Ayurveda Doctors working in Pharmaceuticals/Hospitals/Research Centres owned by Government with 7 years experience and having 2 research papers published are exempted from the Ph.D. Entrance Test.

Vacancies available under each supervising teachers/research centre can be ascertained from the supervising teacher and the Heads of the research centre. One seat in each subject is reserved for applicants belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes if they are otherwise eligible.

The maximum number of candidates permitted to work under different categories of research guides is as follows:

1. Those working in University Departments - 10
2. Research guides who are working as Technical - 3 Staff in University Departments
3. Those working in recognised research institutions - 8
4. Those working in recognised departments of - 5 Affiliated colleges
5. Those retired from service - 5
6. Those having Research Centre at University Library - 2

However, the maximum number of full time research scholars, allowed to work under a supervising teacher, who is guiding a candidate eligible for the J.R.F of the UGC-CSIR is restricted to five.

Part-time Ph.D. registration shall be restricted to regular/permanent teachers of the Department and affiliated Colleges of the University of Kerala in the concerned subjects. Their applications should be accompanied by a certificate from the appointing authority stating that they are appointed on a regular basis in the College/Department.

The facility of part-time Ph.D. registration in Library and Information Science is also extended to those who are working as Library Staff in the University of Kerala on regular basis with a minimum of 3 years experience if all other conditions are satisfied.

Candidates who select University Departments as their research centres shall send their applications to the Head of the Department concerned. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes shall also, send a copy of their application to the Registrar. Those who select recognised Research Institutions/Departments of affiliated colleges shall send their applications to the Registrar.

The merit-listed candidates will have to submit the Original Mark Sheet, Passing Certificate, Migration Certificate and provisionally eligibility certificate (if required) and also pay fees as per payment schedule (Mentioned below) by bank draft in favor of Academy of Aerospace and Aviation, payable at Indore. Selected candidates will also be required to bring with them 10 passport size photographs and 5 stamp size photographs for police verification, ID card, DGCA exams, AeSI exams, IE (India) exams.

Selected candidates must be medically fit for flying duties. They will be examined by authorised medical authorities. The cost of the medical examination will have to be borne by the candidate. Failure to meet the medical standards could disqualify a candidate. For security clearance, police verification of selected candidates will have to be carried out.

International Students - If you are a foreign national, you may obtain I B and Application form. The semester starts in January & July every year. Admission is subjected to security clearance from Government of India.
