M. Tech. Micro Electronic & VLSI Design
2 Yr. B.E./B.Tech or its equivalent in Electronics/Electronics and Communications. Electrical & Electronics/Electronics & Instrumentation with atleast 55% marks in aggregate.

M.Sc. Electronics Science/Electronics with atleast 55% marks in aggregate.
M.Tech. (Nano Sc. & Tech.)

Candidates with AMIE Examination in the relevant discipline will be considered only provided that they have passed AMIE examination with 60% or more marks after having passed diploma examination in the relevant discipline with 60% or more marks and have atleast 5 years research or teaching or professional experience.

M.Tech. Instrumentation

M.Sc.M.Sc. Electronic Science/ Electronics/ Physics with specialization in Electronics or Instrumentation with atleast 55% marks in aggregate.
M.Tech. Computer Engg. (Credit based system)
2 Yr. B.E./B.Tech. or its equivalent in Computer Sc. & Engg./Information Technology/ Electronics & Communication/Tele- Communication from any AICTE approved Institutions with overall minimum CGPA of 6.75 or 60% marks in aggregate (minimum CGPA of 6.25 or 55% marks for SC/ST candidates), preferably with valid GATE score.
OR
M.Sc. in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics from UGC approved institutions with overall minimum CGPA of 6.75 or 60% marks in aggregate (minimum CGPA of 6.25 or 55% marks for SC/ST candidates), preferably with valid GATE score.
OR
M.C.A. from any AICTE/UGC approved institutions with overall overall minimum CGPA of 6.75 or 60% marks in aggregate (minimum CGPA of 6.25 or 55% marks for SC/ST candidates), preferably with valid GATE score.
M. Tech. Electronics & Communication Engg. (Credit based system)
B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics & Communication Engg./Electroics Engg./ Electrical and Electronics Engg/Electrical Engg. from any AICTE approved Institution with overall minimum CGPA of 6.75 or 60% marks in aggregate (minimum CGPA of 6.25 or 55% marks for SC/ST candidates), preferably with valid GATE score.
OR
First Division in M.Sc. electronics from a recognized university/institution with overall minimum CGPA of 6.75 or 60% marks in aggregate (minimum CGPA of 6.25 or 55% marks for SC/ST candidates), preferably with valid GATE score.
M.Tech. Bio-technology (Credit based system)
B.E./B.Tech. in Bio-technology or Bio-medical Engg. from any AICTE/UGC/ICAR approved Institution with overall minimum CGPA of 6.75 or 60% marks in aggregate (minimum CGPA of 6.25 or 55% marks for SC/ST candidates), preferably with valid GATE score.
OR
B. Pharmacy/ Masters degree in Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Medical Biotechnology/ Veterinary Microbiology/ Animal Biotechnology/ Veterinary Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology from any AICTE/UGC/ICAR approved Institution with overall minimum CGPA of 6.75 or 60% marks in aggregate (minimum CGPA of 6.25 or 55% marks for SC/ST candidates), preferably with valid GATE score.
M.Tech. Software Engg.
2 Yr. B.E./B.Tech. or its equivalent in Computer Science & Engg./ Information Technology/Electronics Communication/ Telecommunication Engg. with atleast 55% marks in aggregate.
OR
M.Sc. in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Electronics with atleast 55% marks in aggregate.
OR
Master of Computer Applications with atleast 55% marks in aggregate.
Integrated M.Tech. Food Technology & Management (Credit based system)
5 Yr. 10+2 examination with atleast 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates) from a recognized Board/ University with Physics and Mathematics or Biology as compulsory subjects along with any one of the following subjects: (a) Chemistry (b) Biotechnology (c) Computer Science. The candidate shall be awarded B.Tech. degree if he/she leaves the programme after successful completion of four year course and Integrated M.Tech. degree after successful completion of five year course.
Candidates whose result of Final Semester/Final Year of the qualifying examination is not declared can also apply and take provisional admission in M. Tech. programmes on their own responsibility for fulfilling the eligibility.
For admission to M. Tech. courses the candidates who have passed GATE with valid score in the concerned subject need not to appear in the Entrance Test. They will be considered for admission to M.Tech. Courses on the basis of GATE score.
If a candidate want to apply more than one M.Tech. Course he will have to submit separate Application Form for each M.Tech. Course.

Prospectus (Code PG-II) containing Application Form, date of Entrance Test, eligibility conditions, admission criteria can be obtained from the Manager (P&P), K.U. Kurukshetra by remitting a sum of Rs.650/- (Rs.200/- for SC/BC candidates of Haryana) by DD in favour of Registrar, K.U. payable at Kurukshetra, if required by Regd. Post. Price at the counter is Rs.600/- (Rs.150/- for SC/BC candidates of Haryana).
