Announcing a one-year HIV clinical and leadership training programme jointly run by the Govt. of Tamilnadu, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Government Hospital of Thoracic Medicine (GHTM), and the International Training and Education Center on HIV (I-TECH) to include

• Daily hands-on clinical training and experience
• Daily didactic and case-based sessions
• Mentoring by local and international experts and faculty
• Management and leadership skills development

18 exceptional candidates will be selected from across India via competitive process. Monthly payment Rs 18,000 (subject to revision) for private candidates. Tamilnadu Govt. candidates to receive salary from sponsoring institution, as per rules.

Eligibility

• MBBS recognized by MCI, India, Postgraduate degree/diploma in any medical discipline preferred
• Up to 40 years (relexable up to 5 years for deserving candidates)
• Indian Nationals only
• Fluent in English plus a South Indian language
• Long-term commitment to HIV clinical issues
