Admission will be made on merit & first come first serve basis. For Final year students awaiting their results, marks upto pre - final year examination will be considered.

Send your Application Form by downloading it along with attested xerox copies of your certificates to The Sr. Manager (Production) with the DD. of Rs.1000(Part of course fee) in favour of Indo Danish Tool Room, payable at Jamshedpur. You can get registered yourself by sending the form through e-mail also or by submitting the form online through our website , but confirmation will be sent only after receiving the DD of Rs. 1000.
In the event of selection, this money will be adjusted in the course fee . Registration fee is refundable in the event of candidate not selected to join but is non refundable if he is selected but not joining the course.

Caution Money:
Caution money Rs. 1000 has to be deposited by the candidate of duration 3 - month and Rs. 500 for less than 3 - month duration, which is refundable after successful completion of the course. (Please check in for change in fees)

The Chennai based Banyan Academy of Leadership in Mental Health (BALM), in asssociation with University College London (UCL), will offer a short term course 'Mental Health at the margins' between February 11 and 14, 2008. The course is aimed at enabling trainee participants to understand and better appreciate issues pertaining to debt, poverty, violence, stigma, power relations and how these can be translated on the gound, where actions to overcome these problems can impact most usefully and significantly. The focus would be on local problems and local solutions.

The course is targeted at Mental Health Professionals (social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists, occupational therapists, nurses) from NGOs and government health institutions, working with marginal and displaced populations in south Asia. The course will also benefit professionals from backgrounds such as rights activits, law enforcement officials, judiciary and donor organisations.

The course aims to address the stated objectivies thorugh a variety of techniques over a three and half day period. It will include an overview of the field, challenges and differing solutions. Participants will, through interactive study, learn to generate ideas, and then apply these new understandings within a safe teaching setting. Within a package comprising theretical study and experiential focus group learning, trainee participants will gain a fuller critical awareness and applied undersandin gof the pertinent issues.

Futuristic Training at BIMS

Radiodiognosis is the burgeoning speciality in medical diagnosis and treatment. Technological advancements have made available a whole range of sophisticated equipment to the medical community as a whole, and the best possible healthcare facilities are now available in India.
But the sophisticated equipment requires a matching sophistry in skill, and Bharat Scans pioneers in providing technology to improve healthcare, was quick to perceive a need and provide for it. Candidates pursuing radiology courses in India often are not exposed to state-of-the-art equipment like scanners or MRI machinery, and are thus ill-equipped for jobs in modern diagnostic centers. All to often, they are forced to learn on the job and teach themselves the features and uses of sophisticated equipment.
Bharat Scans set up an academic wing to address this problem in the year 2005. The Bharat Institute of Medical Sciences (BIMS) is a Post Graduate Institute for the National Board of Examinations attached to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Certified by a panel of experts appointed by the Central Government, it has infrastructures like auditorium, conferences hall, library, Internet facility, LCD projector and Medical Educational Aids, and Tools. The seats are filled purely on the basis of merit. It was set up in 2004, and two batches have passed out. Currently, ten students are undergoing the DNB course, which is of a three year duration for MBBS graduates and two years for those coming after DMRD.
