POST GRADUATE CERTIFICATE COURSE IN HYDRO POWER PLANT ENGINEERING

Fulfilling the mandatory requirements of Indian Electricity Rles, 1956 Amendment in 1981.

WHY YOU SHOULD JOIN?
The main aim of the course is to develop the pool of technically trained manpower readily available for recruitment to the Indian Power Sector. The course enhances the knowledge and skill of the graduate engineers sponsored by the Power Utilities & fresh Graduate Engineers.

ABOUT THE COURSE:
The course is of 40 weeks duration & covers all aspects of Hydro Power Plant Engineering including O&M, erection, commissioning, Management, Distribution of Electricity & Tariff.

ELIGIBILITY: Degree in Mech/Elect.Engineering or equivalent from a recognized Engineering College/University with minimum of 60% marks.

SELECTION PROCEDURE: Merit (%of marks).

AGE LIMIT: Maximum 27 years as on 15.02.08. No age limit for sponsored candidates.

TOTAL SEATS: 60 (Sixty). Reservation for SC/ST/PH is applicable as per Govt.norms.

PLACEMENT: *95% students of First course are placed in reputed organizations, remaining are in final stage of placement. NPTI maintains close linkages with power utilities.

Application on plain paper alongwith the Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- in favour of NPTI payable at Badarpur, New Delhi should reach the Principal Director, National Power Training Institute (NR), Badarpur, New Delhi-110 044 with two passport size photographs in the following form: 1 Name 2. Educational Qualifications starting from 10th Standard stating subjects, College/Institution, % of marks, year of passing 10. Experience 11. Sponsored/Non-sponsored (if sponsored attach certificate from employer) 12. Signature . Attach attested copies of proof of Item 3,7 9 & 10.

FEE: For non sponsored candidates : Rs.75000/- ( in two equal instalments) For candidates sponsored from SEBs/PSUs/Private Utilities Rs.90,000/- lump-sum at the time of admission. There is no fee concession for any category of candidates.

iii) Applications can also be downloaded from www.clat.ac.in The downloaded application along with the DD and other enclosures should be sent to the Convener, CLAT at the address entioned above.

b) On-line: For online submission of application, visit, www.clat.ac.in. The completed and pinted Online CLAT 2008 Application form along with DD for Rs.2000/- drawn in favor of Convener, CLAT and payable at Bangalore along with other enclosures should be sent to the Convener, CLAT at the above address. Incomplete applications will be rejected.
