ONLINE TEST AND ADMISSION PROCEDURE:
1.Online Tests will be conducted in specified online tests centers at specified dates and timings.
2.Online test centers will operate only if sufficient number of candidates opts for that centre.
3.As far as possible we will try to accommodate you’re the preferences. However the allotment of Date and Centre for Online Test is vested with the Centers for Distance Education, Anna University Chennai and is final.
4.The results of the online entrance test will be announced on the same day as the test.
5.Candidates are required to bring Original Certificates (SSLC,) HSC Diploma and Degree Certificate) along with one set of Xerox copies when they come for Online Entrance Test for scrutiny and provisional selection.
6.The relevant Xerox copies of certificates of selected candidates will be scrutinized by the Centre for Distance Education and the list of eligible and provisionally admitted candidates will be announced on the web by the Centre for Distance Education

* B.Sc. B.Ed. 4 Years (8 Semesters)
ELIGIBILITY: a) Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (+2) or equivalent examination having passed in 2008 with at least 45% marks in aggregate (5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates). b) in addition to (a). (i) for seeking admission in Physical Science Group, the candidate must have passed in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. * Two Year B.Ed. (Secondary) 2 Years (4 Semesters)
ELIGIBILITY: a) At least 45% marks in B.A./B.Sc. (5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates). b) the candidate possessing B.Sc. degree must have offered at least two of the following subjects at graduation level: Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology & Mathematics. OR The candidate possessing B.A. degree should have offered at least the following subjects at graduation level: (i) any one literature from Hindi, English, Gujarati, Marathi & Urdu and (ii) any one from History, Economics, Geography & Political Science. However, candidates who have passed 'Gujarati' language at any stage of graduation, are also eligible to apply.

* M.Ed. 1 Year (RIE) (2 Semesters)
ELIGIBILITY: a) At least 50% marks in both theory and practical separately in B.Ed., or in the Education part of 4 Year B.A.,B.Ed./B.Sc.B.Ed. b) At least 50% marks in post-graduate degree in Science/Humanities/Social Sciences.
TUITION FEE AND SCHOLARSHIP
A tuition fee of Rs.3000/- (Rupees Three Thousand only) per annum shall be charged from each admitted student (except SC/ST students) payable in two equal installments of Rs.1500/- each at the time of admission and in the first week of January of the session. The tuition fee is non- refundable and will be charged each year of the course of the study (the tuition fee excludes hostel fees and other annual charges). All admitted SC/ST candidates will be given scholarship. The scholarship will be given as per NCERT Rules.
RESERVATION
In each course 15% Seats for SC, 7.5% for ST and 3% for Physically Handicapped (with 40% or above disability) candidates are reserved.

Filled up form along with a fee of Rs.50/- (Rs.5/- in case of SC/ST candidates) in the form of Demand Draft in favour of Principal, Regional Institute of Education, Bhopal drawn on SBI, RCE Branch, Code No.-2889 Bhopal or IPO payable at Central T.T.Nagar Post Office, Bhopal should be submitted to Principal, Regional Institute of Education, Shymala Hills, Bhopal –462013 on or before 20 June 2008 by 5.00 p.m, Application forms can also be obtained by sending a SELF ADDRESSED 23x10 cm. size STAMPED ENVELOPE worth Rs.25/- along with a fee of Rs.50/- (Rs.5/- in case of SC/ST candidate) in the form of IPO/Demand Draft as mentioned earlier. The candidate must write, “Admission for 2008-2009” at the left hand top corner of the envelope. Applications for admission on forms supplied by the Institute need not send the fee again. Application form can also be obtained on any working day ( Monday to Friday ) from the Academic Section of the Institute on production of required IPO/DD.
