The National Institute of Homoeopathy(NIH), an autonomous institution under the Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health and Family welfare, Govt.of India which is affiliated to the West Bengal University of Health sciences(WBUHS)is conducting the Post Graduate courses-MD(Hom.)in three disciplines namely (i)Organon of Medicine (ii)Materia Media (iii)Repertory. Job Oriented Courses at Kanchi Mammunivar Centre for PG Studies

PG Diploma in Communication skills in English, PG Diploma in Fish Farming and Processing

The Kanchi Mammunivar Centre fro Post graduate studies is all set to introduce career-oriented courses from mid-February.

The Institution will offer four postgraduate diploma courses, a bouquet of computer courses at different levels and two certificate courses in foreign language. The courses are PG Diploma in Communication skills in English, PG Diploma in Fish Farming and Processing.

The duration for all PG diploma courses would be 30 weeks. The centre would offer a certificate course in French in collaboration with Alliance Francaise, Puducherry, and a certificate course in Japanese in collaboration with the Indo Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The certificate curses would be for a duration of six months.

In collaboration with the centre for Development of Advanced computing, New Delhi, the centre wuld introduce certificate and diploma courses in computer science and applications.

Institution also introducing a bouquet of four computer courses starting with a Certificate in Multilingual office Automation, Diploma in Multilinqual web Technology, Advanced Diploma in Multiligual computer Programming and PG Diploma in Multilingual computer Application.

All the new courses at the centre wuld have an intake of 20 students each. Of this, 10 seats would be open to all, while five would be for students of the PG Centre and the rest would be for the sponsors from companies.

The centre has been approved by the University Grants Commission and the Pondicherry University would issue certificates, as it is an autonomous centre.
