Masters in Medical Science and Technology(MMST)is a unique 3 year programme for Medical graduates(MBBS degree recognized by Medical Council of India), with aptitude for interdisciplinary medical research and applicationof technology in medicine. All the candidates admitted to the programme are offered an assistantship of Rs.15000/-pm . Seats are reserved for SC/ST/OBC(non-creamy)candidates and persons with disability(PD)as per Govt.of India rules. MMST2009 application can be submitted only by an ONLINE process(internet based)by accessing the website gate.iitkgp.ac.in/mmst during 2 February- 6 March, 2009. The candidate should first pay the non refundable application fee of Rs.1000 (Rs.500 for SC/ST/PD catergory)by obtaining a DD in favour of IIT Kharagpur payable at any nationalized bank in Karagpur, West Bengal. The draft details are required while filling up the online form. Candidates are required to take a print of the online application form after successful submission of data. DD must be sent by speed post so as to reach The chairman, GATE,IIT Kharagpur, Kharagpur 721 302 by 16th March, 2009.

DITE being one of the premier institutes in the country and know for qualify training in the field of tool Engineering with State of the art facilities offers the following courses.

Course: 2 years Post Graduate Course in Tool Design & Manufacture(recognized by Ministry of HRD as equivalent to M.Tech in Production Engineering)

Qualification : Graduate in Mech.or Prodn.Engg or equivalent with 60% marks in aggregate (pass in qualifying examination for industrial sponsored candidates)

Age: Max 27 years as on Ist Jan2009 (Max.35 years for industrial sponsored candidates)

Intake : Total 20 (including 10 sponsored candidates from industry)

Entrance Test: 13.03.2009 (Friday)

Mode of Test: Based on Entrance Test (No entrance test in required for industrial sponsored candidates and selection is based on the Marks obtained in the qualifying examination)

Placement: Last Year 100% through campus interview.

The prescribed application form and Prospectus can be obtained from the institute between 9.00 am and 3.00 pm on payment of Rs.500/-, Rs.125/- for SC/ST(non refundable)as application and examination fee or by sending DD in favour of DITE, Delhi. The reservation of seats shall be as per prescribed Govt.rules. Filled application form should reach on or before 28.02.2009. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the Entrance Examination. Course is commencing from 31.03.2009 at DITE,Okhla Campus-II, New Delhi-20.

22.5% seats are reserved for SC/ST candidates for whom no fee will be charged subject to production of two photo copies of Caste Certificate duly attested by Gazetted Officer. A caution deposit of Rs.1000/-is to be paid along with application in shape of DD which will be refunded after successful completion of Training with minimum 85%attendance.
Caste certificate in original from competent authority is to be produced for verification ast the time of admission which may be reverified from the issuing authority.
