How to apply:

There are three ways (i)Get application form for Rs.750/- by cash/DD favouring SRMIST, payable at Chennai, from the university/HO/branches of SBI, Indian Bank, City Union Bank, Karur Vysya Bank, Axis Bank and Post offices (details on SRM website). The filled in application to be sent to the Dean (Admissions)(ii)download application from www.srmuniv.ac.in fill and send to Dean (Admission)with DD of Rs.750/-(iii)Can also apply online.

Eligibility: B.Tech – A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent and (a)for all programs:Minimum 60% aggregate in mathematics, physics & chemistry(b)for Bioinformatics, Biomedical engg, Bioprocess engg,food Process engg, Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering. Minimum 60% aggregate in biology, physics and chemistry.

Masters in Medical Science and Technology(MMST)is a unique 3 year programme for Medical graduates(MBBS degree recognized by Medical Council of India), with aptitude for interdisciplinary medical research and applicationof technology in medicine. All the candidates admitted to the programme are offered an assistantship of Rs.15000/-pm . Seats are reserved for SC/ST/OBC(non-creamy)candidates and persons with disability(PD)as per Govt.of India rules. MMST2009 application can be submitted only by an ONLINE process(internet based)by accessing the website gate.iitkgp.ac.in/mmst during 2 February- 6 March, 2009. The candidate should first pay the non refundable application fee of Rs.1000 (Rs.500 for SC/ST/PD catergory)by obtaining a DD in favour of IIT Kharagpur payable at any nationalized bank in Karagpur, West Bengal. The draft details are required while filling up the online form. Candidates are required to take a print of the online application form after successful submission of data. A caution deposit of Rs.1000/-is to be paid along with application in shape of DD which will be refunded after successful completion of Training with minimum 85%attendance.
Caste certificate in original from competent authority is to be produced for verification ast the time of admission which may be reverified from the issuing authority.
