About the Course: The course is jointly conducted by MSRIT, an autonomous Institute affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Karnataka and JSW Energy Ltd., the energy vertical of JSW Group, one of the fastest growing business conglomerate in India. The course covers mandatory requirements under Indian Electricity (Amendment) Rules, 1981 and authorizes the PG Diploma holders to operate Power Plants of various capacities
The course is conducted at the state-of-the-art institute, JSWECE, located at Toranagallu, Bellary District in Karnataka. The institute is at a close proximity of 790 MW Power Plants of JSW Group and the institute is also recognized by Central Electricity Authority, Ministry of Power, Government of India
Eligibility: B.E./B.Tech or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Control & Instrumentation Engineering disciplines. Those appearing in the final year examination may also apply

Selection Criteria: Merit based on aggregate marks from all the semesters/years
