With a view to producing quality English language teachers for high schools across the country, the Regional Institute of English, South India(RIESI), will be offering B.Ed English, a one-year degree programme, at its premises in Jnanabharathi campus in Bangalore.

According to RIESI , the Programme is not only affiliated to Bangalore University, but is also recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education. The last date for sending in applications is August 31. Out of the intake ceiling of 100, a total of 16 seats each have been reserved for the member states- Karnataka, Andhra, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
