Who Can Apply:
Candidates should have a bachelor degree under 10+2+3 pattern/ a degree in Agriculture, Technology, Medicine, Education or law/ a post graduate degree in any discipline under 10+2+3 pattern with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from any University/Institution recognized by AIU/AICTE. For SC/ST candidates, 45% marks is required. (Candidates should also fulfill the minimum eligibility requirements for appearing in CAT 2009)
Candidates appearing in the final year of the qualifying examination can also apply provided they furnish the proof of having met the minimum eligibility criteria by October 05, 2010 after completing all the requirements for obtaining the qualifying degree before June 30, 2009.
HOW TO APPLY:
Step 1: Candidates seeking admission to FMS-BHU will be required to purchase CAT 2009 (conducted by IIMs). For detailed information about CAT 2009, please visit www.catiim.in Selection will be made strictly on the basis of the combined Merit acquired by a Candidate in CAT 2009 of IIM, Group Discussion and Interview conducted by FMS, BHU.
The FMS, BHU uses CAT for short-listing the candidates for its two-year full time Post-Graduate Programmes in Management. IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the programme.
Step 2: Candidates are also required to register at FMS, BHU through separate application form which has to be obtained from Faculty of Management Studies, BHU, Varanasi from September 10, 2009 either in person against crossed SBI Bank Draft (MICR) /Banker's Cheque of Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 650/- for SC/ST) till November 24, 2009 OR by post through a requisition along with Crossed SBI Bank Draft (MICR) of Rs. 1050/- (Rs. 700/- for SC/ST) and self-addressed envelope of 32x26 cm. till November 5, 2009 OR may be downloaded from the web site of BHU (www.bhu.ac.in). The downloaded application form must be submitted along with demand draft of Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 650/- for SC/ST Category). ICIT has recently entered into MOU with Institut Superier d'Electroniq de' Paris to have an arrangement to offer MS (Master of Sciences) degree under Joint programme.
INSTITUE SUPERIER d'ELECTRONIQ de'Paris, a well known institute in France established in 1955 and has been offering engineering program in Electronics, . It also offers Master's degree in electronics and telecommunication.
Salient features of the scheme:
* Courses covered: MASTER OF SCIENCE ELECTRONIC AND TELECOMMUNICATION.
* Tenure: Total two years including internship of 5 to 12 months.
* Eligibility Criteria:
Basic educational qualification of Engineering graduate in Electronic and Telecommunication, Instrumentation.
Should have completed successfully the Certificate Course in Embedded, VLSI and Digital Signal Processing conducted by Pune University through ICIT Pune and at his sub centers located in Bangalore and Gandhinagar (Gujarat). First semester at ISEP MS degree programme is exempted once student completes above courses successfully at ICIT.
Student has to undergo the admission process at ICIT before admitted to its courses.
Student need not give GRE, TOFEL and any other qualifying examinations to get admitted for said MS degree except has to complete first semester successfully at ICIT.
Admission for the course at IESP will be confirmed as per the guidelines prescribed by ICIT and ISEP.
* Fees:
Initially at ICIT after admission is confirmed fee for each of above courses is Rs.50000/- .
At ISEP, Paris the remaining course fee is EURO 6900/- excluding lodging and boarding.
* Other Expenditure:
At Pune/Bangalore/Gandhinagar first six months expenses for lodging and boarding would be around Rs.4000/- per month.
At ISEP France, appx. EURO 600/- per month towards lodging and boarding.
* Scholarship Available:
French Govt provides monthly scholarship of EURO 615/- to the students for their stay at Paris. This takes care of staying expenses at Paris.
* Internship at Paris:
Student after pursuing second semester at ISEP under this joint MS Programme will have to complete internship of minimum 5 and maximum 12 months a Paris. During the internship he/she will be paid stipend depending upon the performance with a minimum of EURO 900/-.
* Placement Assistance:
After successful completion of second semester and internship, ISEP will provide all assistance for securing job. It will not give assurance or guarantee of job.

M.Phil. in Psychiatric Social Work: Master's degree in Social Work
M.Sc. in Psychiatric Nursing: One year experience as Registered Nurse with B.Sc./ B.Sc. (Hons)/ PC B.Sc. Nursing in Hospital, Nursing Education Institution or Community Health setting
Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing (DPN) & Diploma in Neurological and Neurosurgical Nursing (DNN): Should possess 'A' Grade Certificate in General Nursing recognized by Indian Nursing council., should be a registered Nurse in the State Nursing Council with two years experience.
Common for all Courses:
The qualifying degrees for all the above mentioned courses should be from a recognized University. For Medical qualification the degree should be recognized by the Medical Council of India.
The Candidates should have obtained not less than 55% of Marks in the aggregate of the
Master's degree for non-medical courses.
A relaxation of 5% on the aggregate of marks obtained will be given for nonmedical and Ph.D. courses in respect of SC/ST candidates.
D) GUIDELINES:
For Medical Courses, date of completion of Internship/Compulsory rotatory job must be as on the date of Commencement of courses, i.e., 2nd May 2010 (proof of completion from compentent authority to be produced at the time of joining, failing which admission will be cancelled). For Non-Medical courses, candidates should bring the results of their qualifying examination as on the date of Entrance Test i.e., 28th February
2010.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Application forms for all the courses are available online at the NIMHANS website www.nimhans.kar.nic.in The applications have to be filled online and submitted online. Printout of the Application Abstract with the latest passport size photograph affixed (in the column provided) along with the Demand Draft drawn in favour of The Director, NIMHANS, Bangalore -560 029 and relevant enclosures should be sent to the Director, NIMHANS, Hosur Road, Bangalore - 560 029 by superscribing the name of the course(s) applied for, on the Envolope without fail.
2.A candidate can apply for a maximum of 4 courses only (Medical & Non-Medical inclusive) provided they are eligible.
The Application fee for both Medical & Non-Medical courses is Rs.1000/- per course for General candidates and Rs.750/- per course for SC/ST candidates Foreign Nationals are required to submit their applications through the Diplomatic Channel (through the Ministry of External Affairs). They shall also appear for the common Entrance Test along with the other candidates. Sponsored candidates should submit their application through proper channel and they should also appear for the Common Entrance Test. The candidates should produce the sponsorship certificate in the prescribed format.
AGE LIMIT:
For MD & DPM Courses the age should not be more than 32 years and, relaxable in case of SC/ST Candidates by a maximum of 5 years as on 2.5.2010. For sponsored candidates age should not be more than 45 years as on 2.5.2010

Incomplete applications, applications without enclosures i.e., for Medical courses: Mark Sheet year wise, Attempt, Internship Completion, Degree, Registration Certificates and Birth Certificate/SSLC/10th Standard Marks sheet. Caste Certificate in case of SC/ ST/OBC category. Non Medical courses: Qualifying exam mark sheets, Certificate, Caste Certificate in case of SC/ST/OBC category and experience certificate if applicable) and Applications without Demand Draft or insufficient Demand Draft will be rejected. The Demand Draft or application of the rejected candidates will not be returned at any cost. No communication will be given against the rejected applications. Demand Draft or enclosures sent subsequently will not be considered. Application Abstract will strictly not be received after 28th November 2009. No interim enquiry or correspondence will be entertained. Candidates called for Entrance Test and Counseling must be present at the venue within the stipulated time failing which they will not be considered for Entrance Test or Counseling at any cost.
Eligible candidates can take printout of their Hall-Ticket for the Entrance Test from NIMHANS website only. Hall-Tickets will not be sent by post. List of qualified candidates for counseling will be notified on the Institute's Notice Board and Website. No separate individual intimation will be given. The decision of the Director in all matters regarding selection will be final and no representation in any form will be entertained. MBA Actuarial Science
Candidates should have attained any of the following Educational Standards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate at graduation/post graduation degree level

Ph.D. Programme
The students may be drawn from those with qualifications from any of the streams listed Below:
• Master's degree or equivalent in relevant disciplines like humanities, social sciences, pure sciences and Commerce, from a recognized university/ deemed university/ institution recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
• Post-graduate Diploma in Business Administration, considered equivalent to MBA by AIU.
Minimum Marks required:
60% marks or equivalent CGPA at PG level.
Work Experience:
At least 5 years full time work experience in executive or supervisory capacity after obtaining Master's Degree.
Engineering students with 65% marks or equivalent CGPA at degree level with 5 years work experience in Academic/Academic Institution/ Research/ Corporate.
Teaching Assistantship of Rs. 25000/- will be available to students for period of 4 years, in addition there would an academic fee waiver. Research grants of Rs. 10,000/- per annum for Ph.D. Research.
Eligibility Criteria for Part Time MBA
Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3) in any discipline from recognized University OR Equivalent pattern recognized by the UGC & AIU. Three Years Post qualification work experience in Supervisory / Executive Cadre as on 31st December 2009 is essential.
Eligibility Criteria for EPGDBM(Bangalore Campus)
Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3) in any discipline from recognized University OR Equivalent pattern recognized by the UGC & AIU with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate. Five Years Post qualification work experience in Supervisory / Executive Cadre as on 31st December 2009 is essential.
Following criteria is common for all programme.
* The candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate from any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
* The Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent. The percentage obtained by the candidate in the bachelor's degree would be based on the practice followed by the university/institution from where the candidate has obtained the degree.
* In case of the candidates being awarded grades/CGPA instead of marks, the equivalence would be based on the equivalence certified by the university/institution from where they have obtained bachelor's degree. In case the university/institution does not have any scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by NMIMS by dividing obtained CGPA with the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the resultant with 100.
* Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirement and are awaiting results can also apply. But their admission will be subject to their fulfilling the eligibility norms as mentioned above.
