The Banaras Hindu University will hold All India Competitive written test for admission to MBBS course (84 seats) in two stages PMT-2010 screening and PMT-2010 main, and for BDS (38 seats), BAMS (78 seats) and B.Pharm (33 seats) courses in one stage PMT-2010 screening.
PMT-2010 screening shall be held on Wednesday, the 12th May 2010 at Varanasi, Delhi, Kolkata and Hyderabad centres, to screen candidates for eligibility to appear in PMT-2010 main examination for MBBS course which will be held on Sunday, the 13th June 2010 at Varanasi centre only.
For BDS/BAMS/B.Pharm courses, candidates will be selected on the basis of their merit in the PMT-2010 screening only.
Eligibility
Qualification: Passed intermediate, 10+2 or equivalent examination in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Zoology + Botany) taken together, (i) for MBBS/BDS/BAMS – a minimum of 50% for General, OBC and respective PC candidate and 40% aggregate marks for SC/ST and respective PC candidates, (ii) for B.Pharm – a minimum of 60% marks for General, OBC and respective PC candidates and 55% aggregate marks for SC/ST and respective PC candidates. Candidates appearing in qualifying examination may also apply.

Eligibility Criteria : The applicant must be a citizen of India and should have passed the H.S.(10+2) or its equivalent examination. Age Restriction:Candidates must be 17 (seventeen) years of age or above as on 31.12.2010. There is no upper age limit except for the Marine Engineering course for which the upper age limit is 25 years as on 31.07.2010.
Residential Requirements: Candidates desirous of seeking admission to Government Engineering / Technology Colleges, Govt. Medical and Dental Colleges as well as to Private Medical and Dental Colleges, must have been residing in the State of West Bengal continuously at least for last 10 (ten) years as on 31.12.2009 or their parents must be permanent resident of West Bengal having their permanent home addresses in the State of West Bengal.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT:
Stipend Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 24,000 per month, Teaching Assistantship upto Rs.11,000 per month as per rules, computer grant, fieldwork grant, contingency grant of Rs. 20,000 per year. Full support for upto three international conference attendance anywhere in the world.

Application Form can be downloaded from IIMC website (www.iimcal.ac.in) or can be obtained from the Administrative Officer (Fellow Programmes & Research), IIM Calcutta, Diamond Harbour Road, Joka, Kolkata-700104.
The last date of receipt of requests for the application form by post is January 08, 2010.
Completed application Form ($) together with a Demand Draft of Rs. 300/- in favour of Indian Institute of Management Calcutta should reach the Administrative Officer (FPR) at the aforesaid address on or before January 25,2010.
A candidate can apply to a maximum of two areas (with only one demand draft of Rs. 300/-).
There is no application fee for SC/ST applicants who submit an attested copy of SC/ST Certificate.

Procure Goa University MBA prospectus cum application form from the Department of Management Studies, Goa University, Goa 403206 by sending a DD for Rs.700/- (Rupees Seven Hundred Only) in favor of 'Registrar, Goa University" payable at any bank in Panaji (Panjim) OR Download the appfication form from www.unigoa.ac.in and send the filled in form with the required DD.
