Programme Structure:
The PGDM Program consists of six trimesters of 10 to 12 weeks each.
The Program offers 21 Core Courses, 9 Elective Courses,One Summer Project, and One Internship Project.
The 21 Core Courses are spread over four Trimesters.
All courses in Trimesters I, II & III are Basic and Functional Courses, which are Core.
The Trimester IV has three Core Courses and three Elective Courses.
Trimester V has six Elective Courses.
A Full Term Project is scheduled in the VI and final Trimester. In addition to these, the students shall have to successfully complete a Summer Project / Study Visit Abroad and take part in five Skill Development Programs
Eligibility:
Any Graduate with a minimum of 50% marks, in any discipline obtained from a University approved by UGC.
Candidates in their final year of graduation can also apply.

Management of Business Finance (MBF) Admission 2010
Indian Institute of Finance, Delhi
Introduction: MBF is a specialised program in Finance. The program has 33 out of 36 papers with core finance focus. It is the only program in finance in the country with curricula at par with MBA of international standards, based on international experience and the needs of Indian industry. MBF is a 108 credit course.
Objectives: To develop competent and effective professional managers, to foster intellectual excellence and to teach the latest techniques of finance by fostering independent and creative thinking
Eligibility: Graduation in any discipline from Indian or Foreign recognized university with minimum of 60% marks [55% marks for SC/ST/OBC].
Candidates appearing in the final year Bachelor’s examination are eligible to apply. Such Candidates, if selected ,will be given provisional admission subject to their clearing graduation. The certification of the same has to be submitted before 1st Semester exams.
Selection Procedure: Admission to IIF programs is very rigorous. The admission to regular program is through written test (CAT (>65%)/XAT (>65%)/AIMAT (>650) /GMAT/GRE (700) (USA)), Group Discussion (GD) and Interview. Candidates who qualify for written test are called for GD and Interview.
The Grades are given on the basis of candidate’s past academic records, other achievements, work experience, professional growth positioning and personal interview for all categories of candidates.
NRI/Foreign/Corporate sponsored candidates are exempt from written test. However, all such candidates are required to appear for GD and interview. There is no written test for candidates applying for EMBF and FBA Finance. However, the admission to EMBF & FBA is through interview and GPS.
IIF follows a policy to admit some women candidates, even if their comparative GPS is relatively low but above the minimum cut off point. The admission policy of the Institute takes into consideration a candidate’s total background. Admission is strictly on merit. Convessing in any form would disqualify a candidate for admission.
Examination Scheme: The examinations are conducted at the end of each semester. Each paper is of 100 marks. Each question paper is divided into five sections. All the sections are required to be attempted by the candidate. Section I is of 15 marks and contains concept test with 15 true/false questions. Section II is of 20 marks and has 10 multiple choice questions. Section III is of 20 marks and has four short answer questions. Section IV is of 20 marks and contains two long answer questions. Section V is of 25 marks and includes a detailed case study.

Notification MHT-CET-2010
Government of Maharashtra shall conduct a single Combined "Common Entrance Test” MHT-CET-2010 for all Health Sciences, Engineering and Pharmacy degree courses for the academic year 2010-2011. The Entrance Test will be held on Thursday, 6th May 2010.Govt of Maharashtra has appointed Director, Medical Education and Research, Mumbai as “The Competent Authority for the MHT-CET-2010”. The merit list of the above said examination will be utilized for admission in:
(1) Government/Municipal Corp/ Government Aided Colleges of Health Sciences degree courses.
(2) Government/Government Aided/University Managed Colleges/University Departments/ Autonomous Institutions/ Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai (U.I.C.T.) and Unaided Private Colleges (those colleges who have given consent to participate in MHT-CET-2010) of Engineering & Pharmacy degree courses.
(3) BVSc & AH degree course.

For selection process there will be separate Competent Authorities. For selection to Health Science degree courses, The Director, Medical Education and Research (DMER), Mumbai is the Competent Education (DTE), Mumbai will be the competent authority. The authority for selection to BVSc & AH degree course is The Registrar, Maharashtra Animal and Fisheries Science University, Nagpur.
The qualifying examination for appearing at MHT-CET-2009 is HSC (12th standard) or equivalent examination with the conditions for eligibility as defined in the respective brochure(s). Candidates should give their requirement of application form on or before 25/02/2009, to their college/school where they are studying 12th Standard. Those candidates who have passed their qualifying examination i.e. 12th standard examination earlier i.e. in 2008 or before and desire to appear for the MHT-CET 2009 should also give their requirement on or before 25/02/2009 to their respective college/school (from where they have passed the 12th standard).
A single application form and three brochures (Health Sciences, Engineering and Pharmacy) will be made available from 13/03/2009. The schedule and place of receiving and submission of application form is as per following:

All the three brochures (health science, engineering and pharmacy) are available on the websites of DMER (www.dmer.org) and DTE (www.dte.org.in/fe2009 and www.dte.org.in/ph2009). The cost of the application form along with the three information brochures of MHT-CET-2009 and examination fee is Rs. 700/- for open category and all outside maharashtra candidates and Rs. 500/- for constitutionally reserved category candidates (belonging to maharashtra state only). This amount is not refundable.
All candidates who for any reason whatsoever are not able to receive application forms through the school/Jr college should collect it from office of Divisional authority of his/her area by giving a DD in favour of “Competent-Authority, MH-CET, Mumbai” payable at Mumbai worth Rs. 700/- for open category and all outside maharashtra candidates and Rs. 500/- for constitutionally reserved category candidates (belonging to maharashtra state only) on any nationalized/scheduled commercial bank, but he/she has to submit it through his/her school/junior college (from where he/she studied 12th std.)

1. Outside maharashtra state (OMS) candidates are permitted to appear for the MHT-CET 2009 in order to become eligible for admission to first year of:
● Four year full time degree courses in engineering/technology in *Unaided private institutes who have given consent to participate in MHT-CET 2009
● Four year full time degree course in pharmacy in Unaided private institute who have given consent to participate in MHT-CET 2009
Note: (i) *Eligible OMS candidates who are appearing for MHT-CET-2009 and seeking admission to engineering degree courses shall be considered eligible for admission against the institute level seats and the seats remaining vacant after completion of CAP, only in Unaided Private Colleges.
(ii) Eligible OMS candidates who are appearing for MHT-CET-2009 and seeking admission to Pharmacy Degree course shall be considered eligible for admission during the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) rounds. Such candidate may also apply for admission against the institute level seats and the seats remaining vacant after completion of CAP in Unaided Private Colleges.
2. Following type of candidates are exempted from appearing for MHT-CET-2009 examination for admission to Engineering/Technology courses:

● G.O.I. Nominees and Jammu & Kashmir migrant candidates are exempted from appearing for the MHT-CET-2009 conducted by the Competent Authority of Govt of Mahrashtra, subject to the approval from the Ministry of Human Resource Development, New Delhi, for filling of the seats over & above the sanctioned intake. However, if the approval is not received before 30/06/2009, these candidates will be treated at par with OMS candidates and hence they are advised to appear for MHT-CET-2009.
4. Candidates who are eligible to apply against the provision of Jammu & Kashmir Migrant candidate as well as the Maharahstra State candidate are entitled to claim only one type of seat i.e either maharashtra state seat or J&K migrant seat for admission to engineering/ Technology/Pharmacy degree courses. Further if the candidate opts for maharashtra state candidature than he/she has to appear for the MHT-CET-2009.
5. Separate notifications for the following types of candidates regarding the schedule of Admission process will be issued by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State, Mumbai, in the month of May/June 2009.
● AIEEE qualified candidates seeking admission to engineering/technology degree courses in Unaided Institutes who have given consent to participate in CAP.

Eligibility Conditions:
(I) Nationality:
A candidate must be either:
(a) a citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to Indian before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or from Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary, may be admitted to the examination but the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued by the Government of India.
(II) Age Limits:
(a) A candidate for this examination must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on the 1st August, 2010 i.e. he must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1980 and not later than 1st August, 1989.
(b) The upper age-limit of 30 years will be relaxable upto 35 years in the case of Government servants of the following categories, if they are employed in a Department/Office under the control of any of the authorities mentioned in column 1 below and apply for admission to the examination for all or any of the Service(s)/Posts mentioned in column 2, for which they are otherwise eligible.
(III) Minimum Educational Qualification:
For admission to the examination, a candidate must have—
(a) obtained a degree in Engineering from a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as Universities under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; or
(b) passed Section A and B of the Institution Examinations of the Institution of Engineers (India); or
(c) obtained a degree/diploma in Engineering from such foreign University/College/Institution and under such conditions as may be recognised by the Government for the purpose from time to time, or
(d) passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India); or
(e) passed Associate Membership Examination Parts II and III/Sections A and B of the Aeronautical Society of India; or
(f) passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Radio Engineers, London held after November, 1959.
Provided that a candidate for the post of Indian Naval Armament Service (Electronics Engineering Posts and Engineer Group 'A' in Wireless Planning and Coordination Wing/Monitoring Organisation) may possess any of the above qualifications or the qualification mentioned below namely:-
M.Sc. degree or its equivalent with Wireless Communication, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as a special subject.
NOTE-1—A candidate who has appeared at an examination the passing of which would render him educationally qualified for this examination, but has not been informed of the result, may apply for admission to the examination. A candidate who intends to appear at such a qualifying examination may also apply. Such candidates will be admitted to the examination, if otherwise eligible, but their admission would be deemed to be provisional and subject to cancellation, if they do not produce proof of having passed the requisite qualifying examination alongwith the detailed applications which will be required to be submitted by the candidates who qualify on the result of written part of the examination.
NOTE-2—In exceptional cases, the Commission may treat a candidate, who has not any of the qualifications prescribed in this rule, as educationally qualified provided that he has passed examinations conducted by other institutions the standard of which in the opinion of the Commission justifies his admission to the examination.
NOTE-3—A candidate who is otherwise qualified but who has taken a degree from a foreign University which is not recognised by Government, may also apply to the Commission and may be admitted to the examination at the discretion of the Commission.
(iv) Physical standards
Candidates must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to Engineering Services Examination, 2010 as per guidelines given in Appendix-II of the rules for theEngineering Services Examination, 2010 published in the Gazette of India Extraordinary dated 30th January, 2010.
FEE:
A candidate seeking admission to Examination must pay to the Commission a fee of Rs. 100.00 (Rupees One hundred only) through a single Central Recruitment Fee stamp. Central Recruitment Fee Stamp of the requisite denomination. Central Recruitment Fee Stamp (NOT postage stamps) must be obtained from the post office and affixed on the application form in the space provided therein. The stamp may be got cancelled from the issuing Post Office with the date stamp of the post office in such a manner that the impression of the cancellation mark partially overflows on the application form itself but within the space provided on the form. The impression of the cancellation mark should be clear and distinct to facilitate the identification of date and the Post Office of issue.
Candidates residing abroad should deposit the prescribed fee in the office of India’s High Commissioner, Ambassador or representative abroad as the case may be for credit to account head "051-Public Service Commission-Examination Fees" and attach the receipt with the application.
APPLICATION NOT COMPLYING WITH THIS REQUIREMENT WILL BE SUMMARILY REJECTED.
ALL FEMALES CANDIDATES AND CANDIDATES BELONGING TO SCHEDULED CASTE/SCHEDULED TRIBE/PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED CATEGORIES ARE EXEMPTED FROM PAYMENT OF FEE. NO FEE EXEMPTION IS, HOWEVER, AVAILABLE TO OBC CANDIDATES AND THEY ARE REQUIRED TO PAY THE PRESCRIBED FEE IN FULL.
HOW TO APPLY:
(a) The Commission proposes to make available online application submission for Engineering Services Examination 2010 from 6th February to 22nd February 2010 for which a separate notice is to be issued.
(b) The UPSC have developed an application form common for all their examination which will be processed on computerised machines. This application form along with an Information Brochure containing general instructions for filling up the form, an acknowledgement card and an envelope for sending the application is obtainable from the designated Head Post Offices/Post Offices throughout the country as listed in Appendix-III of Notice against cash payment of Rs. 20/- (Rupees twenty only). Form should be purchased from the designated Post Offices only and not from any other agency. This form can be used only once and for only one examination. Candidates who wish to apply offline must use the form supplied with the Information Brochure only and they should in no case use photocopy/reproduction/unauthorisedly printed copy of the Form. Since this form is electronically scannable, due care should be taken to fill up the application form correctly. While filling up the application form, please rear to detailed instructions given in Appendix-II of this Notice. The candidate should also fill up in the relevant places of the Acknowledgement Card, their Application Form Number (8-digit) and the name of the Examination. The applicants are required to affix the postage stamp of Rs. 6/- on the Acknowledgement Cards and send the same alongwith application form to UPSC. If an applicant fails to affix the postage stamp of requisite amount his acknowledgement card will not be despatched and Commission will not be responsible for non-receipt of acknowledgement card by the applicant. The duly filled in application form and the acknowledgement card should then be mailed in the special envelope supplied with the Information Brochure. The candidate should also write the name of Examination viz. "Engineering Services Examination, 2010" on the envelope before despatching it to "Secretary, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, New Delhi-110069".
(c) All candidates, whether already in Government Service, or in Government owned industrial undertakings or other similar organisations or in private employment, should submit their applications direct to the Commission. If any candidate forwards his application through his employer and it reaches the Union Public Service Commission late, the application, even if submitted to the employer before the closing date, will not be considered.
Persons, already in Government service whether in a permanent or temporary capacity or as work-charged employees other than casual or daily rated employees or those serving under public enterprises are, however, required to submit an undertaking that they have informed in writing their Head of Office/Department that they have applied for the Examination. Candidates should note that in case communication is received from their employer by the Commission withholding permission to the candidates applying for/appearing at the Examination, their application will be liable to be rejected/candidature will be liable to be cancelled.
Note 1: WHILE FILLING IN HIS APPLICATION FORM, THE CANDIDATE SHOULD CAREFULLY DECIDE ABOUT HIS CHOICE FOR THE CENTRE AND ENGINEERING DISCIPLINE FOR THE EXAMINATION. MORE THAN ONE APPLICATION FROM A CANDIDATE GIVING DIFFERENT CENTRES AND OR ENGINEERING DISCIPLINE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED IN ANY CASE. Reservation/Concession:
a) Reservation: 15%, 7½% and 3% of seats shall be reserved for SC, ST and Physically Challenged (Handicapped) (PH) candidates respectively. All the SC/ST and PH candidates who have passed the qualifying examination are eligible to apply irrespective of their percentage of marks in the qualifying degree examination. OBC reservation, wherever applicable, will be implemented as per the policy of each participating University.
b) Concession for Kashmiri Migrants: 10% marks will be added to the overall marks scored by a Kashmiri Migrant candidate in the entrance examination. After adding 10% marks, in case he/she is covered in the cut-off point in the merit list, he/she will be offered admission strictly in accordance with his/her inter-se merit alongwith other candidates subject to his/her meeting the minimum prescribed eligibility requirements and also subject to his/her producing valid registration documents issued by the notified authorities certifying the candidate’s Kashmiri Migrant status.
Tuition Fee/ Scholarship:
Fee shall be charged from the admitted candidates as per the fee structure of the concerned University. Candidates selected for admission are generally eligible for scholarship at the rates prescribed by the Dept. of Biotechnology.

Entrance Examination will be held on 01.06.2010 (Tuesday). Application forms, complete in all respects, must reach AIIMS, New Delhi latest by 5.00 P.M. on 25.03.2010.
Eligibility Criteria:
(i) Candidates who have passed 12th class examination under 10+2 system or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English securing a minimum of 60% marks (50% in case of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates) aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English or whose results of Class-XII are likely to be declared by 7th July, 2010 are eligible to apply.

The address at which Application Form is required should be written clearly in CAPITAL LETTERS with PIN code. In an effort to cope with enormous expansion, while continuing to maintain its high academic standards, the University of Delhi in the early seventies, initiated a new organization pattern based on the concept of a multi-campus institution. Following this policy, the University started the South Campus in 1973 as an experiment in multi-campus system with a focus on interdisciplinary programmes in Social Sciences, Humanities and Applied Sciences. During the past two and a half decades, the campus has emerged as a pioneer institution of higher education, learning and research and has acquired an identity of its own.
The University of Delhi South Campus has decided to conduct a joint admission test for two of its flagship programmes, namely Master of Finance and Control (MFC) and Master of Business Economics (MBE). The admission test, followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview of shortlisted candidates, will form the basis of admission to these courses. The candidates shall have the option to apply for either or for both the programmes by paying the appropriate fee as indicated later in this prospectus.

Department of Financial Studies (University of Delhi)
Eligibility:
Graduate (under 10 + 2 + 3) / Post-graduate in any discipline with 50% marks, from the University of Delhi or any other University recognised as equivalent there to. Students appearing in the final year of Bachelor's Degree examination in 2010 are eligible to appear in the Joint Admission Test. However, they should meet the above-mentioned eligibility requirements latest by September 15, 2010.
Note: The selected candidates must submit their final year results by September 15, 2010, failing which their admission will be automatically cancelled.
Candidates must ensure that they satisfy the above eligibility conditions before applying. If, at any stage of the admission process, a candidate is found ineligible, his/her application will be cancelled immediately – no queries/clarifications shall be entertained in this regard.
Reservation: The Department will follow University norms regarding reservation of seats for SC/ST, OBC, Physically Challenged candidates and Children/Widows of Officers and Men of the Armed Forces including Para- Military Personnel killed or disabled in action at wars. Foreign students studying in Indian Universities are required to appear in the Admission Test. In addition to the number of seats specified for these programmes, supernumerary seats are available for foreign students. All foreign students need to apply through the Dean, Foreign Students c/o Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, and Delhi-110007 - (For further details visit www.du.ac.in). In the case of foreign students who are not required to appear for the Test, preference will be given to those who furnish their latest GMAT and TOEFL scores. All foreign students are required to meet the requirements as specified by Dean, Foreign students.
Selection Procedure: The short listing of the candidates for admission to the MFC and MBE programmes will be done on the basis of their performance in the Entrance Test which seeks to test the aptitude of the candidates for studies in business analysis and management. The Entrance Test will consist of multiple choice questions relating to English Comprehension and Verbal Ability, Analytical Reasoning, Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency, Quantitative Ability (covering Basic Arithmetic, Algebra, Calculus, Basic Statistics and Data Analysis) and Current Business Environment. The result of the entrance test is expected by April 2, 2010. The short listed candidates will be called for group discussion and personal interview. Candidates called for group discussion and interview shall bear travel and other incidental expenses themselves. In all cases, the decision of the Admission Committee shall be final.
Age: The candidate should have attained the age of 20 years on the 1st of October in the year in which admission is sought.
Fee payable: At present the MFC students are required to pay an annual fee of Rs. 11,500/- at the time of admission. Students selected to the MBE programme are required to pay an annual fee of Rs.11, 361/- The foreign students would have to pay an annual fee as per university rules. The fee may be revised from time to time by the University.
Test Centers:
The admission Test will be held on Sunday, March 21, 2010 between 11.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m at Delhi, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Luck now and Mumbai. The University can change/cancel any test centre.

The application form duly completed (accompanied by a self-addressed envelope of size 10" x 4.5" bearing postage stamp worth Rs. 25/- (If mailing address is outside Delhi and NCR) or postage stamp worth Rs. 12/- (if mailing address is in Delhi or NCR i.e., Gurgaon / Faridabad / Ghaziabad / NOIDA) for Admission Tickets to be sent via Speed Post) should reach the office of the Department of Financial Studies, Room No.329 or Department of Business Economics, Room No.229, University of Delhi, South Campus, Benito Juarez Road, New Delhi 110021 latest by February 24, 2010 (Forms will not be accepted on Saturday, Sunday and Holidays).
Application forms which have been downloaded from the website must be accompanied by a demand draft of appropriate amount favouring- The Director, University of Delhi, South Campus and mailed to or submitted at Department of Financial Studies, or at Department of Business Economics, Arts Faculty Building, University of Delhi, South Campus, Benito Juarez Road, New Delhi-110021. Candidates applying for both the courses must attach a demand draft of Rs. 1200/- (Rs. 500/- for SC/ST candidates) and those applying for only one course should attach demand draft for Rs. 700/- (Rs. 300/- for SC/ST candidates) SC/ST/OBC candidates and candidates applying in the physically challenged category must submit a copy of caste/medical certificate along with the form. Applications without a valid caste/ medical certificate are liable to be rejected summarily. The candidates are advised to contact the University in case of any delay in receiving the Prospectus or Admission Ticket. The University will not be responsible for any postal delays. Disputes, if any, arising out of or relating to any matter whatsoever, concerning the process of admission shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent court in Delhi only.
