Two-year Post Graduate Programme in Management from the Academic Session 2010-2011
Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ranchi will launch its two-year Post Graduate Programme in Management from the Academic Session 2010-2011. IIM Calcutta will mentor IIM Ranchi in its formative years. The Admissions Office of IIM Calcutta will receive and process applications from candidates who meet the application criteria as mentioned below and would like to apply to IIM Ranchi for its two-year Post Graduate Programme in Management commencing from the academic session 2010-2011. Fees for the two-year programme will be Rs.3lakh per year.
WHO CAN APPLY:
Candidates with a score of 95 percentile or above in CAT 2009 are eligible to apply.

AMRITA UNIVERSITY – ENTRANCE ENGINEERING EXAMINATION 2010
Amrita University offers B.Tech. programmes in eight branches at the three Schools of Engineering located at Amritapuri, Bengaluru and Coimbatore. The University has been conducting its engineering entrance examination every year in various cities across the country. The entrance exam for the next academic year is scheduled for Sunday, 2nd May 2010. The exam will be conducted in 77 cities. Application forms can be had from selected branches of AXIS Bank, Dhanalakshmi Bank & State Bank of Hyderabad. Candidates can also apply online.
Entrance Exam: The entrance exam is of 3 hour duration. Seat allotment is done through counselling and is based on the rank obtained by the candidates in the Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering 2010.
Age: Candidates shall be born on or after 1st July 1989.
Qualification: – A pass in the final examination of 10+2 (class XII ) or its equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks separately in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. (OR)

The oikos PhD Fellowship Programme intends to promote top level research in the field of sustainable management and economics e.g. in the fields of financial markets and responsible investment, emerging markets, ecological economics and Sustainability. Therefore, they invite applications for an oikos PhD Fellowship to join our international team of six international PhD Fellows at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland. The Fellowships will be awarded for a three-year period starting in September 2010 and ending in August 2013. oikos Fellows will have the opportunity to build upon an excellent research platform at the University of St. Gallen, a leading European management school, and take advantage of the global oikos academic network.
Objective: To target this objective, the programme supports outstanding international students to pursue a PhD at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.
Awards: Each fellowship carries a grant of annually CHF 36,000 and an additional fund of CHF 10,800 for research, travel and participation in scholarly conferences.
