ELIGIBILITY:
The minimum qualification to apply for admission to the MBA Program is a Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3 years of education) in any discipline which is recognized by the Association of Indian Universities, or any degree equivalent to the Bachelor's Degree, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the Secondary / Higher Secondary / Pre-degree Examinations (or equivalent) conducted by a Board / University.
Those appearing for the final year of the Bachelor's degree examinations may also apply subject to completing their examinations or viva-voce, if any, before June 30, 2010. Such candidates will however have to fulfil the above eligibility requirements in respect of minimum academic qualifications for admission and furnish evidence to that effect latest by October 31, 2010. At the time of interview and/or admissions, they will be required to produce a letter from their College Principal / Head of Institution stating the exam dates.
Candidates with appropriate industry experience will be given preference for admissions. Their work experience will be given due weight age in terms of the organization, position held and duration.
Selection:-The closing date for submitting completed application forms is March 22, 2010. By third week of March 2010, candidates who are short-listed based on their CAT scores will be called for a Personal Interview. Interviews will be held at Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai and New Delhi. The interview dates would be from 18th to 21st April 2010. The names of the short listed candidates for interviews will be posted on www.amrita.edu/asb. Short listed candidates will also be intimated of their dates and venue based on the choice of interview location that they give in the application form. After the Personal Interview, the candidates will be intimated of their final selection. Selected students will be expected to pay the first installment of fees within fifteen days from the date of intimation of their final selection.
Through GMAT, a maximum of 15% seats are available for NRI and/or foreign candidates. A minimum GMAT score of 550 is necessary for consideration for interview.
Admission Test:-All candidates seeking admission to Amrita's MBA Programs should appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in November 2009. NRIs and Foreign Nationals are required to take the GMAT test.
Batch Size: - The number of seats available for the fully residential two year MBA programme starting on June 2010 is 300. (120 seats in Coimbatore and 60 seat each in Amritapuri, Bengaluru and Kochi).

Summer Research Fellowship programme 2010 – IIT Delhi
IIT Delhi has instituted a prestigious summer research fellowship programme for providing an opportunity to exceptionally good undergraduate students of NITs, Delhi College of Engg., NSIT and BITS-Pilani for Top ten of the classes to execute an innovative research and development project under the guidance of an IIT Delhi faculty. The fellow will register at IIT Delhi as a casual student; she/he will not be required to pay institute registration fees.
Duration: The Fellowship work can be done in a period of 8-12 weeks which can be availed of during at most two visits.
Awards:
(a) cost of travel in the country, to and from IIT Delhi;
(b) stay at IIT Delhi during the visit(s), including boarding and lodging in
the Institute hostels; and
(c) a fellowship of Rs. 500/- per week.
The fellow will have to pay the insurance charges.
Eligibility: Any undergraduate student, who has completed at least 2 years of study towards an engineering degree, is amongst top ten positions in her/his respective programme will be eligible to apply for this fellowship. Students who will be completing this requirement by May 2010 are also eligible.

Duration of the post graduate courses: The duration of the Post Graduate course is 36 months divided into 6 semesters of 6 months each from the date of commencement of the course.

Eligibility criteria for admissions: (a) The candidates must have passed MBBS examination from a recognized medical college and should have obtained final registration from the medical council of the concerned country, after completion of one year rotating internship training. Additional one year clinical experience in recognized hospitals is required as per medical council of Mauritius. Such candidates will be required to submit a certificate of at least one year from the relevant authorities of the hospital were they have practiced
(b) The candidate undergoing two year rotating internship training and likely to obtain final registration certificate from the medical council of the concerned country, on and before 28th February, 2010 can also appear for the interview. Such candidates will be required to submit a certificate from the relevant authorities regarding the likely date of completion of rotating internship training failing which his application will be treated as incomplete and shall be rejected.
(c) The candidates should be reasonably well versed in English.
(d) The candidates of any nationality can apply by producing the nationality certificate.
Admission procedure
Application form: A candidate for admission must submit an application in his own handwriting, in prescribed application form, which has been duly signed and issued by the Managing director of the Padmashree Dr DY Patil medical college. The application forms can be obtained from registered office at Quatre Borne, Mauritius. Application form can be downloaded from the website of college. This form, duly completed in all respect along with necessary documents, must be submitted either by registered post or handed over personally together with stamped and self-addressed envelope for a reply, so as to reach the office of the Padmashree Dr DY Patil medical college, Quatre Borne before the last date. Incomplete, defective and late applications will not be considered and no correspondence in this matter will be entertained.
List of documents: The attested copies of the following documents must be submitted along with application form. Selection procedure: Selection will be based on merit, taking also into consideration the applicant’s ability to meet the financial requirements of overseas education and to contribute towards the growth of the institution. Short listed candidates may be required to appear for an interview before the admission panel headed by the Managing Director on the given date and venue which will be intimated later, at their own expenses.
