Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Gujarat has invited applications for Admission to MCh Super specialty Course - M.Ch. (Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery) through Super specialty Common Entrance Test (SSCET) 2011, scheduled on 12/06/2011, (Sunday).


Eligibility:

A candidate will be eligible for SSCET 2011 and for selection/admission to a course In Superspeciality of M.Ch. (Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery) by fulfilling following conditions:

1. The candidate must be an Indian national.
2. The candidate must be medically fit.

3. The candidate must possess recognized postgraduate degree MS - General Surgery from a medical college recognized by MCI. The candidates who have appeared and completed MS - General Surgery or equivalent examination recognized by MCI are also eligible to submit application forms. However, they will be considered for selection, on production of passing certificate on the date of counseling.

4. State Medical Council / MCI registration is a precondition for appearing for SSCET 2011 and its proof should be submitted.

5. The minimum percentage of marks secured by the candidates in the SSCET 2011 for the purpose of eligibility for admission to Super specialty courses shall be 50% for all the candidates.

Job Requirements: Development of new analytical protocols for stable isotopic analysis of natural materials and to carryout research in the area of Paleo-climates and Climate Science.

XIII. Post Codes: S-19 and S-20 (Two positions)
Discipline: Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering
Job Requirements: Maintenance of sophisticated geophysical instruments, data acquisition in field and laboratory and participation in data processing and modeling.

The areas and the number of positions mentioned against each are inter-changeable depending upon the institutional needs and availability of talent.

Selection Procedure
The candidates will be required to make a formal presentation on their work and future plans at an Institute colloquium. This will be followed by an interview by a duly constituted Selection Committee.

Candidates selected for Scientist (FELLOW) positions shall be paid (i) House Rent
Allowance on the basis of the emoluments fixed, if official accommodation is not provided (ii)
Medical facilities/benefits as made applicable to CSIR-NGRI Scientists will be extended (iii) will be entitled for 30 days (15+15) leave as prescribed under CCS (Leave) Rules, 1972 and orders thereon from time to time.


General conditions
1. Relaxation of age and experience can be considered in case of exceptionally meritorious candidates with prior approval of the Competent Authority.
2. Applications (to be down-loaded from the website www.ngri.org.in ) from the candidates working in Govt. Departments/ Public Sector Organizations and Govt. funded Research Agencies will be considered only if forwarded through proper channel (advance copy of application should reach before the last date ) and with a clear certificate that no vigilance case is being pending/contemplated against him/her and the applicant will be relieved immediately/within fifteen days on receipt of appointment order.
3. Candidates those who are willing to apply for both Scientist (Fellow) Range-1 & 2, should apply in two separate applications.

4. Application duly filled in and duly supported by attested copies of all relevant Certificates including Community Certificate (in the case of SC/ST/OBC candidates), appropriate Certificate issued by the competent authority in case of physically challenged candidates, passport size photograph of the individual should be sent so as to reach the Controller of Administration on or before 27/05/2011.
5. Applications not accompanied by the relevant attested copies of certificates including semester-wise Memorandum of Marks sheet(s) will be summarily rejected.
6. Incomplete and unsigned applications as well as those received after the last date i.e.27/05/2011 will not be considered.
7. A lower standard of suitability consistent with efficiency will be applied in the interview in respect of SC/ST candidates.
8. Mere fulfilling the essential educational qualifications and experience will not vest any right on a candidate for being called for interview. The applications will be short-listed and the decision of the Institute will be final.
9. The candidates called for interview will be paid to and fro single second class rail fare, by shortest direct route, from the actual place of undertaking the journey or from the place of their residence whichever is nearer to Secunderabad Railway Station, on production of Bus ticket/rail ticket number, as per GOI/CSIR Rules.
10. Canvassing in any form, and/or bringing in any influence, political or otherwise, will be treated as a disqualification for the post.
