Written Test & selection of candidates: 17th July, 2011

Eligibility: Eligibility for MBA:-

A three-year bachelor's degree (10+2+3) or equivalent in any discipline from recognized University with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. Students appearing in the final examination of a Bachelor's degree can also apply.

Selection Process: Candidates short listed on the basis of their performance in the different components of Entrance Test will be called for group discussion and personal interview. The final selection to the programme would be based on the candidate's performance in the written test, group discussion, personal interview and work experience.

Eligibility for PhD:-
Masters degree or equivalent in relevant subject from any recognized University in India or abroad scoring not less than 55 % marks or 6.0/10 CGPA in aggregate.


Selection Procedure:
All candidates will have to appear in the Entrance Test and Interview process to be administered by the University.
Candidates who have passed NET/SET/GATE/JRF/M.Phil. Or are UGC/CSIR/NBHM fellows will be exempted from the entrance test. However, such candidates shall have to go through the presentation and interview process.

Eligibility for BTech:-
(10+2) or its equivalent from a recognized Board with at least 50% marks or equivalent in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Selection Process:
- Candidates short listed on the basis of their performance in the different components of Entrance Test will be called for personal interview/counseling. The final selection would be based on the candidate's performance in the written test, personal interview/ counseling.

Eligibility for MTech:-
B.E./B.Tech or its equivalent from a recognized University with at least 60% marks or its equivalent CGPA.

Selection Process:
- Candidates short listed on the basis of their performance in the different components of Entrance Test will be called for personal interview/counseling. The final selection would be based on the candidate's performance in the written test, Personal Interview/ counseling and work experience.

Application
The application procedure for admission consists of two steps:

1. Written Test
The Written Test JKLU-PGEET, to be conducted at Jaipur on June 26, 2011. The candidates who have appeared in GATE or any other equivalent competitive examination will be exempted from appearing in JKLU-PGEET.

2. Application Form
Aspirants are required to fill in the application form of the Institute of Engineering and Technology of the University. A All the candidates desirous of admission to MBA programme of Jamia Hamdard will also have to apply to Jamia Hamdard on its prescribed admission application form. When the MAT result is declared, the candidates will have to submit attested copy of their score card to Jamia Hamdard. They should clearly write the admission application form no./roll no. of Jamia Hamdard on the back of the scorecard. Those who have used downloaded form should write the roll no. Issued by Jamia Hamdard on the back of the scorecard.

A Short-listed candidates will be called for GD/interview in Jamia Hamdard. Dates of GD/interview will be communicated to the short-listed candidates and also on the university web site.



For admission against the foreign national/NRI/Industry sponsored seats, written test is not required.However, They have to appear in GD amd Interview conduct by Jamia Hamdard.

Institute Of Hotel Management And Catering Technology, Kovalam, Trivandrum has invited applications for admission to Certified Hospitality Trainer program of Academic Year 2011-12.

Candidates with BSc Degree in Hospitality & Hotel Administration (1st Division) from NCHMCT-IGNOU or 4 years Bachelors Degree in Hotel Management (1st Division) from Institutes approved by AICTE and affiliated to a recognized University may apply for enrollment to the above eight weeks program, which will begin from 15th July, 2011 at Institute of Hotel Management, G.V. Raja Road, Kovalam, Trivandrum.

Master of Arts in Extension and Development Studies (MAEDS) Admission

The School of Extension and Development Studies (SOEDS) under IGNOU University has invited applications for admission to Master of Arts in Extension and Development Studies (MAEDS) On Campus Full Time Programme course of Year 2011.

Eligibility: Any graduate
Duration: Minimum - 2 Years & Maximum - 5 Years
Medium: English
Fee: Rs. 2500/- per semester (Total Rs. 10000/- for four semesters)
Intake: 20 students will be admitted in June 2011 batch. The reservation of seats for SC / ST / OBC and other categories will be as per University rules.
Mode of Admission: On marks basis and interview, if required. Interview will be held at IGNOU, New Delhi.

Applications can be availed at a Price of Rs. 100/- by cash at the School of Extension and Development Studies, IGNOU and for Rs. 150/- by registered post.
