Delhi University has invited applications for admission to the Master of Philosophy (MPhil) and Doctoral (Ph.D) Programmes in Education, offered both in a full-time and a part-time mode.

M.Phil:-
Eligibility Conditions for Full-time Candidates:
i) The minimum qualifications for admission to the MPhil (Full-time) Programme shall be a Master's Degree of an Indian University or an equivalent degree of a foreign university, in Education, or an allied subject with a high Second Class i.e., minimum of 55% marks in the aggregate or an equivalent grade.

Eligibility Conditions for Part-time Candidates:
i) The minimum qualifications for admission to the MPhil (Part-time) Programme shall be a Master's Degree of an Indian University, or an equivalent degree of a foreign university, in Education or an allied subject, with a high Second Class i.e., minimum of 55% marks in the aggregate or an equivalent grade. ii) Preference will be given to candidates having experience of working as educational practitioners.

Ph.D:-
Conditions of Eligibility and Process of Selection:
To be eligible for admission to the PhD programme, a candidate must have obtained a Master’s or an MPhil degree of the University of Delhi, or any other recognized University, or any degree recognized as equivalent in the subject in which the candidate wishes to pursue a course of research, or in an allied subject. She/he must have obtained either a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grading in the MPhil degree or a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grading in the Master’s degree. Students having fellowships and/or scholarships instituted by the University, national and international agencies under schemes approved/and recognized by the University of Delhi, through procedures laid down by the University, may be registered provisionally by the Departmental Research Committee (DRC) and Board of Research Studies.

The eligibility criteria for taking admission to the MBA programme through MAT-RTOU shall be as under:
i) Graduation in any discipline with 50% marks for the general category candidates and 45% marks for the reserve category candidates i.e.SC/ST class candidates (as declared by the State Govt. from time to time) Or Bachelor degree with 3 years of Supervisory/ Managerial/ Professional/ Working Experience.
ii) Clearance of MAT-RTOU Exam conducted by U P Rajarshi Tandon Open University, Allahabad (Clearance means securing 40% marks in MAT-RTOU)

However the candidates who have successfully cleared the entrance tests conducted by IGNOU (OPENMAT)/ CAT/ MAT/ Uttar Pradesh State Level Test like UPMCAT or so, need not to appear in MAT-RTOU and their scores shall be valid up to one year to take admission to MBA program of UPRTOU.
