These programmes are aimed at present and future managers and specialists responsible for purchasing and supply chain management, particularly in private enterprises ranging from large corporations to Small and Medium Enterprises.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational - To qualify for these professional qualifications, you must have a university degree and proficiency in English and at least two years working experience in purchasing & supply.
Duration
Normal duration of the course is 18 months; however since this is a modular course specially designed for working professionals, the candidates can complete the modules at their own pace. The examinations for all the modules will be held in March and September every year. Certificate and Diploma will be awarded by ITC on successful completion of requirements.
Course Content
To obtain the first level Certificate, you must complete and take exams covering six of the modules. If you prefer to go for the Advanced Certificate, you must complete and take exams for all twelve core modules. To obtain the Diploma, you must not only complete the twelve core modules, but also three supplementary modules and an assignment report of 8,000-10,000 words.
8.CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL IN SUPPLY MANAGEMENT (CPSM)
The CPSM Examination is controlled by the Certification Board, Institute for Supply Management United States of America, (ISM, USA) which consists of a panel drawn from a variety of organizational backgrounds. The CPSM Exam is revised under the Board's scrutiny before every test administration using input from purchasing and materials managers across the United States. These Exams are now being offered by IIMM at substantially lower fees in India through distance education.
Admission
Throughout the year through 44 branches & Headquarter. Students will be eligible for writing the examination only after six months from the date of admission.

A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from recognized University. Experience – 3 years full time professional supply management experience [nonclerical, nonsupport]

Eligibility:
Minimum three-year Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any discipline, from a recognized university, with a consistent record of first class in Std X, Std XII and graduation. Final year degree students, who expect to complete their final examinations and other requirements for obtaining the degree by June 05, 2012, can also apply.
Selection process: Candidates who have applied to LIBA will be short listed only on the basis of their XAT 2012 / CAT 2011 scores. Short listed candidates will be called for Group Discussion and interview for final selection at Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai. Candidates can give their choice of Interview centre; however it is subject to discretion of LIBA.
How To Apply:
Admission Test: Apply and appear for any one of the following written tests:
a) Register for XAT 2012 to be conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur on 8 January 2012
b) CAT to be conducted by IIMs during 22 October – 18 November 2011.
Applicants are required to follow the XAT/CAT advertisements respectively and apply in time. Registering for XAT or CAT is a prerequisite for applying to LIBA's PGDM program.
For applying to LIBA:
a) Get a demand draft (DD) for Rs.1000/- favouring "LIBA CHENNAI" payable at Chennai OR
b) Pay Rs. 1000/- at any of the specified IMS learning centres and obtains the IMS receipt and Admission bulletin. OR
c) Pay Rs 1000/- in cash at the LIBA admission Office in person.
