Eligibility: The candidate must be an Indian national. The candidate should be less than 28 years of age as on 01.07. 2010 (date of birth 1st July 1982 or later). A relaxation of up to 5 years in age can be given in the case of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe, 10 years in case of Physically Challenged applicants. A relaxation of up to 3 years in age can be given in the case of Other Backward Class applicants.

Selection Procedure: Applications will be scrutinized and suitability of candidates will be decided on the basis of their
academic performance. In each discipline, depending upon the number of applicants, candidates with marks above a cut-off will be called for WRITTEN TEST. For candidates under Category A or B percent marks of each previous semester/year of the qualifying degree will be used to decide the cutoff. For candidates under Category-C the percent marks of each previous semester/year of the qualifying degree will be used to decide the cut-off. Hence, candidates are advised to attach copies of all necessary mark sheets along with calculation showing the average marks scored.

Fellowship & Tenure: The selected candidates will be initially taken as Junior Research Fellows (JRF) and will be paid a stipend of Rs.12,000/- per month (consolidated). The fellowship will be provided initially for a period of two years. Continuation of the fellowship is subject to satisfactory performance and review at the end of each year. On satisfactory performance, the tenure of Fellowship will be further extended and upgraded to Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) from the third year onwards with a stipend of Rs.14,000/- per month (consolidated). The total period of the fellowship shall in no case exceed five years. They are entitled for contingency grant including book allowance of Rs.15,000/- per year.

Admissions 2010

The National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Kochi has invited applications in the prescribed form for admission to the LL.M. Degree Course in (1) International Trade Law; and (2) Constitutional and Administrative Law.
There will be 6 seats each for the course. The course will be spread over a period of two academic years (4 Semesters) and will be offered under the credit and semester system. The minimum qualification for admission shall be a pass in the 5 year B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) Degree Examination of the National University of Advanced Legal Studies or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto with a minimum of 50 % of the total marks in the aggregate. However, those who have appeared/are appearing for the final year/ semester examination shall be eligible to submit application for admission. They shall have to produce proof of having passed the qualifying examination, before or at the time of interview, along with the detailed mark sheets.

Admission shall be based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination (Maximum 50 marks) the performance in the Entrance Test to be conducted by the University (Maximum 40 Marks), and performance in the Interview (Maximum 10 marks). Central Food Technological Research Institute Mysore invites Applications for 2 year M.Sc. (Food Technology) Degree Course of the University of Mysore for the years 2010-12.

Eligibility criteria: Bachelor Degree in Science with Chemistry/Biochemistry as one of the subjects or Agriculture / Engineering / Technology. Mathematics as one of the subjects in Plus 2 or Pre University or at Degree level is compulsory for admission.

Delhi Technological University, Delhi will hold an Entrance Examination for admission to first year of the four year BTech (Part-Time) Degree evening programme for employed diploma holders in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic & Communication engineering for the year 2010-2011 on 20th June 2010 (Sunday).

New Delhi; April 15, 2010: Delhi Technological University (DTU), formerly Delhi College of Engineering, has announced the admissions for its BTech. Part-Time programs in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and Electronics & Communication Engineering, with an intake of 32 each (total 128 seats on offer) for the 2010-11 academic session. The part-time courses are of four years duration, where classes are held six days a week in the evenings from 6 pm to 9 pm. These courses are meant for practicing Diploma engineers, working in the NCT of Delhi.

Eligibility: The admissions will be made on the basis of entrance examination, which will be conducted by the University on June 20, 2010. Those who have passed State Diploma Examination in Engineering of three years with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) and have served for a period of not less than one year as on October 1, 2010 in an established engineering works/ organization, located in the NCT of Delhi and contiguous industrial areas shall be eligible to appear in the entrance examination.

How To Apply: The Information Bulletin including the details of the admission procedure, Application form and syllabi of entrance examination, is available from today on all working days (Monday to Saturday) between 2 pm to 7 pm on submission of crossed Bank Draft/ Pay Order of Rs 750 issued from State Bank of India only, drawn in favour of ‘The Co-ordinator BTech.
