Symbiosis College of Nursing (SCON) functions under the aegis of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Symbiosis International University. Combines the principles of holistic nursing and experimentalism. syllabus approved by the Indian Nursing Council, with additional modules on Communication Skills, Personality Development, Principles & Practices of Management and Medico-legal Issues. Basic Life support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification recognized by American Heart Association (AHA) also part of the curriculum. Numerous career avenues in the healthcare industry across the world.


Symbiosis has a tie up with All American Health Care Services Inc. for placement assistance in USA and UK for nurses graduating from Symbiosis.

B.Sc. Nursing
Eligibility:
1)The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st Dec. of the year of admission.

2) The minimum educational requirements shall be the passing of:
Higher Secondary school certificate Examination (12 years course), OR
Senior School certificate Examination (10+2), pre-degree Examination (10+2) OR
An equivalent with 12 years schooling from a recognized board or university with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English with minimum of 50% aggregate marks (PCBE).

3) Candidates shall be medically fit.


Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing
Eligibility:
1) Passed the Higher Secondary or Senior Secondary or Intermediate or 10+2 or an equivalent examination recognised by the university for this purpose. Those who have done 10+1 in or before 1986, will be eligible for admission.

2) Obtained a certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery and registered as R.N.R.M. with the State Nurses Registration Council. A male nurse, trained before the implementation of the new integrated course besides being registered as a nurse with State Nurses Registration Council, shall produce evidence of training approved by Indian Nursing Council for a similar duration in lieu of midwifery in any one of the following areas:
- O.T. Techniques - Ophthalmic Nursing
- Leprosy Nursing - T.B Nursing
- Psychiatric Nursing - Community Health Nursing
- Cancer Nursing - Orthopaedic Nursing
- Neurological and Neuro surgical Nursing

3) Candidates shall be medically fit.


Selection Processors : Candidates will be selected on the basis of their marks in the qualifying examination followed by a personal interview.
Medium of Instruction : English
Reservation of Seats : Within the Sanctioned Intake: Scheduled Caste: 15%, Scheduled Tribes: 7.5%, Management Quota: 15% , Physically Handicapped: 3%. Over and above the Sanctioned Intake: Kashmiri Migrants: 2 seats, International Students : 15%.
