Training for Professionals(Programme for Engineering Graduates)

About the Programme:
With a view to meet the immediate trained human resources requirements of the IT and ITES industries, Department of Information Technology(DIT) Govt.of India, has taken up an initiative to set up Training for Professional Program for engineering graduates. ABV-IIITM, Gwalior is conducting Training for Professional programme for a period of 12 weeks, from 15th Jan 2009-15th April 2009. The Institute has taken up the responsibility of training about 50 engineering graduates. This effort has twin objectives of (i) offering suitable candidates to IT industry and (ii) helping young graduates to find hobs by inculcating IT and soft skills components through appropriate training. The programme offers rich inputs to enhance and sharpen the required skills among the engineering graduates and make them employable in the IT and ITES industry. The institute will endeavor attempts to secure the job for the participants in the programme. It may however be noted that this programme does not guarantee employment and candidates will not be treated as students of ABV-IIIT,Gwalior. The programme will be delivered by the faculty of ABV-IIIT Gwalior with additional support from practicing executives from the IT and ITES industry.

Eligiblility:

B.E/B.Tech/MCA/MBA/M.Sc, CSE and M.Sc. IT of recognized institutes/colleges are eligible to attend the programme.

Selection:
Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of academic performance/Test in the engineering degree. Reservations, as per Government of India norms, shall apply.

Application:
Interested candidates may fill-up the application form by downloading the same from then Institutes website: www.iitm.ac.in Forms can also be obtained in person from the Assistant Registrar, ABV-IIITM Gwalior, during official working hours (Monday to Friday), up (Rs.50/-fro SC/ST candidates) drawn in favour of ABV-IIITM-Training for Professionals, payable at Gwalior, is to be sent to the undersigned, so as to make it reach on or before December 10, 2008. The list of short listed candidates will be at the institutes website by December 20, 2008.
