Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology(RGCB)is ranked among India’s best biotechnology schools and is fully funded by the Department of Biotechnology, Govt.of India. RGCB has major research programs in Disease Biology and Molecular Medicine as well as Plant Biotechnology and Discovery.

Applications are invited from postgraduates in Life sciences, Chemical Sciences, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Agriculture, Veterinary sciences and Medicine graduates for RGCB PhD program, currently affiliated to University of Kerala.

All applicants must have a consistent first class academic record (no less than 60% aggregate) and a valid research fellowship from UGC/CSIR/ICMR/Category A of DBT. Candidates without valid fellowships need not apply. However, candidates with professional degree MBBS, MD, MTech, MVSc,MPharm and MSc(Agri)may apply even if they have no valid fellowships.
