Doctoral Fellowship Programme (equivalent to Ph.D), Admissions 2010

Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta has invited applications for admission to the Doctoral Fellowship Programme (equivalent to Ph.D), commencing June 2010.
The areas of Specializations available are (i) Behavioral Sciences (ii) Economics (iii) Finance & Control (iv) Human Resource Management (v) Management Information Systems (vi) Marketing (vii) Operations Management (viii) Public Policy and Management (ix) Strategic Management (x) Regional Development (xi) Operations Research and Systems Analysis (xii) Sociology.

Applicants with score of CAT, GMAT, GRE, GATE and UGC-JRF are eligible. The last date for receipt of request for application from by Post is January 8,2010.

Completed application(s) with a Demand Draft for RS.300/- drawn in favour of 'Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta', should reach should reach the Administrative Officer (FPR), IIM Calcutta, Diamond Harbour Road, Joka, Kolkata-700 104, on or before 25th January, 2010. A candidate can apply for a maximum of two areas only with one Demand Draft for Rs.300/-.

There is no Application fee for SC/ST candidates subject to submission of an attested copy of the SC/ST Certificate. Stipend in the range of Rs.20,000/- to Rs.24,000/- per month and Teaching Assistantship up to Rs.11,000/- per month as per rules is available. Computer Grant, Fieldwork Grant, contingency Grant of Rs.20,000/- per year are provided. Full support will be given for attending up to three international conferences anywhere in the world.
